After the recent announcement of APAC 2017 and the invitational of international teams, EnVision have announced that main tank numlocked will not be competing with the team over in China. He will be replaced by Chayne who will be taking over main tank duties for the team.
Gonna be playing with @ggenvision at APAC! Super excited to play with the guys and show off what I can do :)

numlocked has been with EnVision since Week 2 of Contenders Season 1 where he helped them to a third-place finish and will still play for them in the playoffs this weekend. After much reddit hate during his time on the ill-fated NRG lineup he proved he was still one of the best tanks around during the regular season of Contenders. With his return to prominence, it is rumoured that the Overwatch League is waiting for the Brit but nothing has been confirmed at this stage.
Filling in for APAC 2017 will be Chayne. He is most well known for his time on Tier 2 team You Guys Get Paid? after a short stint in Fnatic. YGGP? were regularly on the cusp of breaking into the top ranks, and has most recently been playing in the Overwatch Open Division on the team 6 rinas. Since losing Kophee in July EnVision has been through several main tanks and they will be hoping they have finally found one to stay in Chayne. You will be able to see exactly how well he fares on October 19 when APAC kicks off.
For APAC 2017 EnVision eSports will be:
- Jani "Tseini" Kähkönen (DPS)
- Jason "Jaru" White (DPS)
- Caleb "McGravy" McGarvey (Flex)
- Shayne "Chayne" La Rocque (Trial Tank)
- Anthony "Fire" King (Support)
- Riley "Fahzix" Taylor (Support)
