The former NRG and Team USA 2016 DPS-turned-flex player had given no clues yesterday when tweeting to his fans to expect an announcement at 12:00PM PST. Today, on the hour, EnVy delivered a one-two punch of memes and frags in successive Tweets.
The birdman has been seldom seen in match play since stepping down from the NRG Esports starting roster back in April to focus on his incredibly popular stream. His last public competitive outing was with Kelvin and the Chipmunks in Contenders Season Zero, where he came one game short of qualifying for the main event.
No details are known at this time regarding Seagull’s buyouts or future salary. To date, the only publicized salary has been the $150,000 in remunerations reportedly agreed between sinatraa and NRG.
The Team EnVyUs (and Dallas Overwatch) roster is now assumed to be:
- Kim "EFFECT" Hyeon (DPS)
- Timo "Taimou" Kettunen (DPS)
- Pongphop "Mickie" Rattanasangohod (Flex)
- Christian "cocco" Jonsson (Tank)
- Sebastian "chipshajen" Widlund (Support)
- Jonathan "HarryHook" Tejedor Rua (Support)
- Brandon "Seagull" Larned (Flex)
- Kyle "KyKy" Souder (Coach)
