The London Spitfire have announced the team has parted way with head coach Bishop. This comes one year after Bishop first joined Cloud 9 as a coach.

Bishop's proficiency in both Korean and English made him a core piece in Cloud 9's attempts at running a mixed Korean and Western roster in early 2017. He and the organization stuck together as that roster crumbled and Cloud 9 looked to build its London Spitfire Overwatch League roster.
Bishop's attention would end up shifting from a roster of mixed nationalities to an all-Korean roster as the Spitfire signed both Kongdoo Panthera and GC Busan. Rather than treat the Spitfire squad as two separate rosters, he worked to fuse the two teams together and experiment with which combination made for the best starting lineup.
While a new head coach for the franchise has yet to be declared, the London Spitfire said in a news post that a new coaching structure for the team would be announced shortly.
