Is becoming the host the slow way out of OWL? monkaW
The current list of MVP candidates doesn't account for the fact that Stage 4 and Playoffs are the most important part of the season. It's either now or never to pop off as a carry player for your team (in order to make/defend playoffs spots). I see 4 out of 5 MVP candidates not playing as much as in the three stages before, it's a joke.
I'm voting for Twilight for obvious reasons but Sinatraa fanboys are out of control.
Choosing your own opponent.. that's awkward on so many levels. I'd rather have them play lucio ball to decide the pairings.
Just stumbled over another potential spoiler: teams' individual rank values. In spoiler-free mode, the values are still shown which might lead to spoilers. Given the case that you somewhat remember one team's rank value (e.g. the 1st placed team is the only one with rank of >1600 after week 1), after week 2 you possibly notice a surprising difference between values (e.g. a change from >1600 to 1550). Only explanation: the 1st placed team must have lost its week 2 game; result spoilered.
You might want to fix this, too. Apart from this, great feature overall!
Finally we get to see some viewership numbers.
Oh, and PogChamp!
London spits fire? Low hanging fruit.
Whatever you do, TiZi, don't jump pls.
Will Blizzard’s esports division extend some of the guidelines and player protections offered by Overwatch League’s Player Agreement to enforce players' welfare?
As badly as China obviously needs better player representation, I'd rather like to see an organisation like WESA expanding to professional OW instead of trusting Blizzard's only efforts for their own league. OWL is shaping up to be a billionaire's club anyway, there shouldn't be any big problems concerning monetisation or payouts in general.
