Mere days before the first match of the inaugural Overwatch League season, Blizzard has announced the on-air talent for the Overwatch League. While much of the talent debuted in the preseason, several new additions have joined the Overwatch League crew. The full lineup is as follows:
- Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykles
- Erik "Doa" Lonnquist
- Soe "Soe" Gschwind
- Chris "Puckett" Puckett
- Mitch "Uber" Leslie
- Matthew "Mr X" Morello
- Jonathan "Reinforce" Larsson
- Auguste "Semmler" Massonnat
- Alberto "Crumbz" Rengifo
- Brennon "Bren" Hook
- Robert "hexagrams" Kirkbride
- Josh "Sideshow" Wilkinson
Semmler and Crumbz will have the least Overwatch casting experience among the lineup, although they are well-known for casting in other titles. Semmler previously worked on Counter Strike: Global Offensive broadcasts and was a caster for ELEAGUE's Overwatch Open in 2016. Crumbz was previously an analyst and caster for League of Legends. The Overwatch League will be the first major Overwatch event he has casted.
Reinforce, Bren and Sideshow are also new to the Overwatch League broadcast team, although they are far from new to Overwatch. Reinforce previously played for Rogue and Misfits before transitioning to an analyst for the Overwatch World Cup and Contenders Season One. Bren and Sideshow have each put in their fair share to casting and analyzing Overwatch and were both part of the team for Contenders Season One. Although Bren casted alongside ZP during Contenders, he will be part of the analyst desk to begin the Overwatch League.
I'm going to be on the analyst desk only for this season of #OverwatchLeague for people who are asking, there's potential for me to cast at some point but for now the plan is the dominate the desk with my big brain. Sorry @SideshowGaming @ProphetCrumbz @Reinforce @MLGPuckett

Notable omissions from the talent lineup include Andrew "ZP" Rush, Jason Kaplan, and Alex "gillfrost/Left Guy" Gill. While Blizzard has yet to make any announcements regarding commentators and analysts not included in the Overwatch League, it is expected they will man the broadcasts for Overwatch Contenders.
Blizzard included in their announcement that Korean and Mandarin Chinese broadcast talent would be revealed soon. At the moment, there has yet to be an announcement of the streaming platform that Overwatch League will be broadcast on.
