I'm pretty sure that the title was meant to be "Bye Week's roster deMinishes."
Arhan has a pretty damn good Tracer. I imagine how role will be as a Tracer specialist, and they could then run him and Linkzr for Tracer-Genji.
There were so many puns you could have made here. "Seven out for Revenge," or "Revenge completes the Seven," as just two. Come on now
Still sad that we haven't seen much ZP/Hex casts in a long time, they were such a great combo, and ZP has such a brilliant understanding of the game. I'd also love to see Left Guy return, he was really funny and added a lot to whatever he was a part of.
Who thought it was a good idea to put Bren on the desk though? You need to be good with words for that.
Sejong and Busan are my votes
You don't have to partner with an academy team to be in Contenders necessarily
I think it more means that just because a team appeared in one season, doesn't mean that they'll appear in following seasons if they don't choose to. I can't imagine that they'll kick teams, and definitely not midway through
Defiance: Yiska, it just feels like waffling. In Overwatch, there have been many incidents of a player or a team that doesn't do well, despite them once being good. If a team has recently been struggling, the trend is for them to continue struggling if they stay as a team.
Sejong: The Tyrants only really have synergy between Adam and Roolf, and between Mowzassa and Greyy, and the Fuel has shown what a disaster running triple support is. Even though the events that the teams that made up the greats are small, they did them as a team, and more recently, while the Tyrants are a bunch of individuals.
Blaze: The Magpies are a team whose only common factor is their inconsistency. If you're playing Recry and Arhan together, you miss out either on Arhan's Genji (which is surely what you run him for) so that he can play Tracer, or you just play no Tracer at all, which isn't a good idea.
Surf: I know very few of the non-DPS players, and Elbion did a better job of convincing me.
Well yes, but you also have Hydration on the team. Surefour's Pharah was one of the best in the world, no question, but he hasn't shown that he can be consistently amazing at it very recently.
That tournament, with every POTM being a Nico Pumpkin slicing, was something to behold. I loved watching it after the age of tanks.
Maybe, but I think that there's some of that intangible quality about Grim. He's been part of Immortals/Sodipop since the start, so I think that there could be some merit in keeping him because he goes well with the team.
I also don't think there's too much worth in getting a straight up replacement. If you do, you've just committed however much Grim's contract is for a bench-warmer. It's a bit of a waste of money if you end up doing that.
If Grim's also taking a leadership role, as long as he's not playing Tracer, it would be a huge loss to not have that. Grim can play a good Tracer, but I assume his recent lack of performance on it is because he's trying to call at the same time, which just won't work.
I'm more curious about Silkthread. He plays a good Tracer, but not much else. Meanwhile you've got Soon, who made the current Tracer playstyle, but is more flexible.
I think it would make more sense if he signed with the Gladiators, Fusion, or (if he can bring himself) Uprising. They seem like the ones in more need of an insane hitscan player
