Winter Wonderland 2017
Not sure what to expect here. Boston did beat London but I doubt they'll be sitting Profit for this one, so Seoul will be facing what I'd arguably call the strongest DPS duo in the OWL right now.
Either way I'm hoping for as hype of a match as the Seoul vs NYXL one...but with mah Seoul boyz coming out on top this time!
I really don't understand that decision. Jehong is arguable the best Overwatch player in the league, and admittedly his best hero is Ana, and he's wasted on Mercy, but why bench him? And furthermore, why not un-bench him when the plan with Gido clearly wasn't working (they didn't cap a point in the first 2 maps).
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Munchkin is just better... Munchkin is probably the best second dps in the whole league. There is absolutely 0 reason to take him out.
I don't know about that, Pretty sure Profit and multiple other players would have something to say about that. Im looking at the stats on Winston's Lab now and....
Profit has the highest rating on both Genji & Tracer
Highest fight win rate out of all Tracer players
Highest fight win rate out of all Genji players
Most kills per 10 minutes out of all players
Least deaths per 10 minutes out of all dps players
(These statistics are toggled to players with 1 hour + play time on a hero, obviously stats are inflated if a player has only played 10 minutes on the hero)
Bunny is the 2nd highest rated Tracer behind Profit meanwhile Munchkin has one of the lowest ratings of all Tracer players. Munchkin may be one of the top players in the league but he hasn't shown in so far in the league and statistically Bunny has played alot better on Tracer than Munchkin.
Seoul doesn't need someone with a deep hero pool to be paired with Fleta, they need a Tracer player most of the time until stage 2 where the meta will probably drastically change. Munchkin may have a deeper hero pool than Bunny but im pretty sure Tracer is by far Munchkin's most played hero in the league so far and like i said, he has one of the worst Tracer ratings.
This is what an OWL caster had to say about the match last night:

OWL Caster Akaros: "The biggest cause of S. Dynasty's crushing loss was the healers. Tobi made so many mistakes compared to Closer who's looking like one of the best Mercys in the league. Gido's lackluster Zen didn't help. It was the healer gap that ultimately decided the match"
He continues in a couple more tweets.
One thing I don't like about Seoul ever since their Lunatic Hai times. They try to bring in obviously less talented players on games and not sub them out even when it isn't working.
I kind of understand why they do it. If some of the players don't get any play time, they'll lose motivation, which might have bad influence on the entire team. Also, if they sub out players when it's not working well, that could also hurt the player's morale. So they just keep playing with it with hopes that they can come back and do better in the later part of the game.
That has been part of how Lunatic Hai managed to stay on top for so long. They were able to keep the players motivated, and the players that were once seen as less talented came in at times when regular players were under-performing (like in the case of Gido in APEX season 3).
However, I don't get why they need to do it in games that are this important. They could try subbing in these players against weaker teams, or after they already got 3 points and secured a victory. That happens all the time in real sport, and that does sufficient enough job of keeping players motivated.
