Phillie are my guys, but damn, how can you not be glad with how the Dragons are starting to look?
Btw no name for Geguri on her shirt?

posted about 6 years ago

Well they brought TechGirl, really liked her during contenders EU.

Damn you are in, I'm the new coach of Dallas, we miss your flag!

posted about 6 years ago

Would be even cooler if the winner of each (NA, EU, KO, AU, etc..) would then enter another round, but eh...

posted about 6 years ago

Haha they brought them to Bergamo which is not the center of the world, so there's something fishy for sure. :)

So, this is just for us Italian sad fans, but if you didn't already know:
https://www.bergamonews.it/2018/03/07/nasce-lesport-palace-la-nuova-mecca-del-gamer-bergamo/277683/

It's going to be apparently Samsung Morningstar's "base of operations", including some sort of reality tv experiment?
Eh Whatever, now the guys have 2 Koreans so... hype! :D

From a numerical point of view in esports (not just/only OW), Brazil is to America (the whole of it), what Russia (and Ukraine) is to Europe, that being the biggest pool of players, but a relatively "weak" economy compared to their rich neighbours (BR to the US and RU to UK/DE).

Worth noting for example that in Brazil consoles are more expensive than in the States or even in Europe, and yet their standard wage/salary is way lower.

That usually leads tons of players to free to play games (e.g. DOTA) then on pay to play ones like OW, and what little native esports organizations follow of course the player/viewer base.

Having a nice big team based off Brazil would surely help their scene grow, and they really deserve it, as well as other SA countries of course, but those will follow swiftly imo.

EDIT: btw there's a reason for example if we have Lucio and Zarya in OW, while we don't have (yet?) a Mario.

posted about 6 years ago

So since I know nothing (just too lazy to check, sorry), but new players can be signed after the end of the trade lock?
And if so, can they already play or have to wait for next season?

posted about 6 years ago

Mate I'm still waiting for an Italian one... one can dream. :D

posted about 6 years ago

I'm just gonna limit myself to EU cities, since I really believe we should have at least 2-3 more franchises for the old continent:

Personal preference
Milan - Italy
Berlin/Cologne/Frankfurt - Germany
Stockholm - Swedem

More likely (and also most "deserved")
Stockholm - Sweden esports have always been storng
Paris - Less strong than the swedes but still good
Berlin/Cologne/Frankfurt . Germany always work well with esports events

Not many mentioned Russian cities, but those are another topic, RU/UA have an immense pool of players for esports, not giving them a single spot would be really dumb, imo.

posted about 6 years ago

In all honesty thou poi, if it was just for me and my own entertainment, I'd say Milan, but from a functional/practical point of view, I wouldn't suggest any Italian city... our esport scene is simply, nonexistant, sadly. :(

And it would probably "rob" another country of their possibility.

Every league need its Dallas, as well as its Shangai and of course NYXL, I'm not saying that's done on purpose, it's just how things usually work and in the end make the whole league more interesting to follow.

That said, even if I never was an EnvyUS/Fuel fan I totally understand why they could be a bit mad about all this constant drama.

Holy mother of... Snillo POGGERS

posted about 6 years ago

I'm a scrub so my advice counts for what it is, but really, turn on yr mic and communicate, you literally double your chances of winning a match.
For the rest, as everyone else mentioned, practice some different heroes until you find the oneS that suit you most.

Have fun and gl!

p.s, if you tilt while in comp, take a break, you only risk tilting even further

posted about 6 years ago

"We're going to 4-0 them"
Yeh, not really Profit

posted about 6 years ago

Close match, gg Gladiators.
So except for NYXL now the otehr 2 Koreans teams aren't too far away from the non full Korean teams, and to be honest it shows also in the matches.

posted about 6 years ago

Well at least he's "stealing" from the best.
ZP is love <3

posted about 6 years ago

Yep I honestly don't get all this "hate" for aKm, for sure at the moment better than Taimou, and on the lats map is not like Rascal carried.

But I guess Dallas fans aren't happy now that they are actually playing better?

MIssed the game, but so they completely benched Logix in favor of TviQ Tracer?

posted about 6 years ago

This is "W" from PHT!GFS, B you arrived late, and in the wrong place.
All you need to do is click on https://www.over.gg/threads and find the right thread.

posted about 6 years ago

Well is not like Seoul's tanks had way better ratios in the maps they lost, 11-15 for Miro and 12-15 for Xepher.

Picking this close match to "point fingers" at players/roles isn't the ideal imo.

posted about 6 years ago

yeh told ya I'm slow :D

posted about 6 years ago

I know is still very early into this stage, but I feel like this could already be a deciding match for these stage's playoffs.

I'm for the Fusions, but eh this could very well go either side.

posted about 6 years ago

No idea how long has been there like it is (yes I'm not too fast lol), but you guys nailed it again!
https://www.over.gg/matches

Nice and clear schedule, thanks!

Woa I was pretty positive that the Valiant would have taken this away, but not a 4-0.

That said some maps were pretty close, is just that Bunny rolled them up, while Architect didn't have the same impact.

Also, finally people realize Soon has never been a one trick Tracer, there was just no need for him to switch off Tracer.

posted about 6 years ago

Bunny carry

posted about 6 years ago

Sinatra's peak was when he was paired with Dafran, in a relatively weak scene, and together they were really something amazing.

He didn't play competitively for a lot of months, and came back in OWL, where most teams have a Tracer at least at his level (if not above) and with more practice.

posted about 6 years ago

Pokuri tried to carry with Diya on Route, well signs are there, guess SHD still needs more time.

posted about 6 years ago

I wonder how many people would believe me if I made a brand new account and say Donald Trump sent me a picture of his cock.

B..but why? :D

I'll put it here, and yes of course I'm biased being Italian, but:
Nisa - very underrated as a support player

posted about 6 years ago

I don't know I agree with you that at the start of the league, and for quite some time that was the case.

I also remember Monte pointing him out as one of the possible weak points of the team in one of his early OWL days, but anyone underrating Libero now simply has to be blind, the guy is a flex beast.

posted about 6 years ago

Is the Quake Champions scene even a thing?
I know they had some tournaments last year, but have to admit haven't followed it much.

posted about 6 years ago

I honestly hope he won't end up in a coaching position, as I truly believe he's a great player, but agree with you, should it happen, he might able to find that kind solution, considering the kind of flexibility and game knowledge he has.

Generation1, this is the last post I'll ever make on this kind of "non game related" topic, so I'm sorry if I won't be answering a possible reply of yours, but eh I drew a line for myself and I'll stick to it.

You can't control others (dreamkapzer's predatorial behaviour in this case), what you can do, as a parent/older relative of a young boy/girl is provide every kind of information to your kids, so that it makes them less easy to be targets of such scumbags.

That means, I know you can't avoid giving this kind of tools to modern teenagers, and enforcing draconian rules on kids, usually never works if not even achieves the contrary effect.

But you can't simply "give up", leaving them to drag their own conclusions on what is right, what is wrong without having your voice in it, it should happen way earlier, but is never too late.

This of course applies to both, 'cause if dreamkapzer ended to be what he is it means somewhere down line something went wrong, something very big.

Laws then are (luckily) there to punish when this shit happens, but then it's already too late.
