i thought it was funny at first bc he was still winning games despite messing around. but then it developed to where he was just purposely losing winnable games for a lot of players that take competitive mode seriously, which isn't funny or cool. and certainly that's not a good look for a brand like selfless
GFE beat NRG in monthly melee a few weeks ago too. which was probably a worse version of the current FNRGFE squad
hype
rip Emil though i thought he played insanely well in their games as Good Round. were these players cut or leave of own accord?
PogChamp
"it's 'another' great assault map" WutFace
really hyped for the deadeye change. would be cool if he can flank ult now
also the reaper buff sounds insane but he needed something drastic so lets see. kind of afraid he'll be able to wm1 with too little punish
nah surefour talks plenty of shit on stream (not saying it's a bad thing). they're all kids
b a n g e r
excuses + deflect blame that's a yikes
@Guinea
ok so you think females can't move their forearm and wrist while sitting in a chair as well as males, or they're not as smart for in-game decisions? and that gender is the deciding factor? to me that's what real sexism sounds like
there are definitely females in top 500. surely more in asian ladder/in countries where gaming is more culturally accepted and less of hermit/"nerdy" activity. a player like Geguri is enough for anyone to realize that gender isn't the issue.
lol wtf are the posts in this thread
for every female ow player there are probably 100 males. if you're not an amoeba then it should become really clear as to why there are more males in top 500 (hint: bc there are more males playing to begin with)
effect is nutty
runaway 3-0
edit NotLikeThis
i thought he never had selfless graphics
i vividly recall changsik on their roster
edit: oh i see a 7th player. looks like he played about as equally as often as changsik in S2, though changsik played in the envyus match
if EFFECT is used properly i think they can make it a lot closer than their previous series together. i still think an upset is unlikely though. they also have a new addition to the roster with alpha
LH 3-2
i expect it to be slightly closer than Rogue vs KDP, but could still be a LH 3-1
KDP trolling
AOD aren't bad, they're just much weaker than KDP. losing a map to them isn't a good sign for Rogue
based on today's series i'd guess panthera 3-1
looks like a misunderstanding of the language not that serious
because they're pretty good? in their most recent tournament they beat liquid, nrg (not like that means too much but they're also in this tournament), and took a map from selfless
rogue should win this match decisively, but i think they'll hit a wall versus panthera in their next match
well the single english nouns is trendy in east asia because english itself is trendy and "global." especially in cities you'll see people wearing t-shirts with a large english word printed that they don't know the meaning of. many shops sell this
but for chinese the pronunciation of numbers sound like words or phrases. it's common in usernames, urls, slang. this is easy to remember
definitely noticed AFB's supports lacking in previous series especially maps versus c9, like their dps just not being healed in clutch moments. people blame arhan a lot but you can only do so much as genji without proper support. looking forward to see what comes of the new roster
tobi always fragging on kings row last
i mean after watching overview it definitely seems like biting the hand that feeds.
all i know is i'll be rooting for rogue in apex : )
FeelsBadMan munchkin would have been a solid addition
ResidentSleeper grand finals INC
edit i had no faith in NV
it's not really analysis
that was a fat PogChamp
as far as i know splyce hasn't played in a tournament with this new roster. half of the players were on kungarna which was a contender for tier 1 na before disbanding
selfless and lge play each other often with the same result, weird they'd stream it over envyus' return to NA (also the leftovers of kungarna). maybe that one is expected to be more one sided
rip c9 looking pretty disorganized on payload
lucio DPS
hyped to see new c9 roster. surefour said on stream that they're going 50/50 with rogue in scrims
idk whether it makes sense, but it's pretty easy when all of the players live and play in NA.
also in most cases teams consist of players from multiple countries. 2 of envyus is from sweden so should they be represented by a swedish flag? then the other 2/3 of the players wouldn't be represented. yet every player can identify with a country that their org is from, that they're living in, and that they're playing in.
most ppl here probably disagree with me but i don't think it's that important anyway
what? clearly some of these things make seagull look pretty bad, like letting your significant other have word in team decisions. whoever gave these details don't want to be known as that guy who publicizes basically private information. or be negatively perceived by supporters/the organization
GF seems too committed to the Rogue comp
would have liked to watch the match too but it's not like GFE hasn't been playing well. they've been contesting/having close games with good teams. rapid improvement since roster changes, just hadn't come to fruition in previous series. recall them almost winning vs LGevil and even taking a map from selfless not long ago (albeit volskaya which selfless doesn't practice)
i agree it seems inconsistent, though i've noticed that for months in NA. maybe there's less of a skill gap between the higher end of teams than what can be seen
https://oddshot.tv/s/PmdtW_
liko clutch
i have a feeling BGH would be insane on NA ping
sexism is funi hehe xd
