i just realised tittle is super wrong :/ *world championship
yea man lets kick kangooros asses, we will take this little island!
if youre talking about "70k viewers" thats mine ;) i decided to combine most of it into this post
-over 70k during china vs thailand with peak around 72k
after match ended thai stream droped from nearly 11k to under 2k a lot of french already during this - over 9k
-for the most part around 60k-61k with peak of around 65k for france vs norway
increase in french viewers from around 9k to 16k (peak over 17k) interestingly nimber of korean viewers increased significantly as well still it was not enaugh to compensate for lose in thai and chinese viewers
https://esc.watch/tournaments/ow/overwatch-world-cup-2017-shanghai-qualifier
i think todays matches are not listed yet (im 100% positive china vs thailand had more than 65k of hong kong vs norway)
chinese stream with bullshit numbers as alweys (790k peak on some chinese website and around 5k on twitch yeah seems legit)
overwatch seems to be doing preaty well as an esport considering the fact that pgl major started today, still what blizzard is doing with owl does not convince me
EDIT: sadly link got updated and now chinese "viewers" are included thus making numbers completly wrong
i was looking for something like this :) thx for link but i think todays matches are not listed yet (im 100% positive china vs thailand had more than 65k of hong kong vs norway)
chinese stream with bullshit numbers as alweys (790k peak on some chinese website and around 5k on twitch yeah seems legit)
but i actualy trust twitch numbers and dont think there are many viewbots
yeah, specialy considering that today cs go pgl krakow major started
-over 70k during china vs thailand with peak around 72k

thailand too hot to handle
rip dengularity, mickeyland too stronk
still argentina looked great
yeah as i said, it shows overwatch is doing well as an esport so lers just hope blizz doesnt fuck up owl
girl in the crowd was holding sign saying "lucio 5 king" am i missing something (some meme?) or it should be "4 king"?
they had over 100 but far from 200 i think
hours will prodably be better for western audience so maybe
well we have only 1 match to go today so it wint matter ;)
last years wc also had a lot of viewers, prodably information in game at webpage and from comunity members (for example stylosa) combined result in such a high number of viewers
gg frogue getting 4-0 i felt like rogue played very badly, and only getting serious andhaving good ult economy when things were going badly, still argentina looking realy good specialy klaus who arguably looked like a better tracer then soon
Nearly 70k viewers on official wc streams during france(rogue) vs argentina, thats preaty impressive and shows overwatch as an esport is doing well, lets hope owl is success (im not convinced by blizzard actions)
edit: at the moment of posting there are exactly 70 119 viewers ;)
this is 3rd season in the row that i play only olacemant (for spray) and thats all my ranked games, i play solo in every game so quick play is much better, unlike in cs go you cant win games just with skill (well not as many at least), bigger problem than trolls i found actualy people who play "meta" and coz hanzo is not meta if someone picks him they start throwing and not healing him (same with rest of not meta picks) im talking about dimond,
it realy sounds like there is only 1 team from seoul, thus only 1 team from s korea :/
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/157067077
here is a link to scrims, only tvique point of view but its realy good way to see how he might be used best
coz clearly tournaments is only time pro players play.....
check tvique stream, eu pros played scrims with him
looks like a good dva counter (most abilities not affected by matrix) and good dive addition, good against tanks, slow targets while bad against long distance and flankers
that was true c9 on route 66 by arc 6
NICO YOU DA FUCKING MAN this matrix saving akm
deja vu from monthly melee rogue losing control (and later whole series?)
story of volskaya:
unko, EMP
/closed
i got deju vu from selfless beeing at the top of na and people waiting for them to play against rogue and nv, spoiler they got rekt and i feel like the same will happen to immortals
aaaaaand blizzard adds doomfist who seems like great adition to dive meta :/
Great interview with lunatic hais coach, specialy interesting (and true) part about problems with overwatch and blizzards attitude towards it:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Competitiveoverwatch/comments/6lkdxc/lunatic_hai_coach_ama/
emp is still fight wining ult, if he waited and used it on 2nd they would prodably hold longer
TAIMOU WHY THE F**K YOU USED THIS EMP JUST BEFORE LOSING POINT ON HANAMURA?!?!?!
coz we all want envy to win ;) but i think most of us think its about 65:35 in favour of kdp
i think rogue might get upset but they should still take it
reverse sweeep lets fu*king go! wp team liquid
maybe not frag movie but still: https://clips.twitch.tv/HyperHonorableLatteAsianGlow (calculated!)
1st its bo5 so it cant be 2:1
2nd lg evil underperformes lately
i get the season 2 vibe going, kdp is this uncrowned winner (last season lh) and af blue is this suprise finalist (runway last season) soooooo kdp and afb wins, in finals kdp wins :P (tho i hope nv can suprise i dont belive in them)
-Players profiles (main heros, teams theye were on etc)
-what players were on teams, when they were switched/left
-not sure how you could do it but would it be possible to not need to refrashe match page for results in ongoing games? (not important)
-maybe make sizes of team logos more consistant. When you open different matches you can notice it coz the whole page is laid little bit differently (schedule gets moved up or down depending on this) again its not important
-notification when someone quotes your comment
edit: i missed part of "what you like" ;) site is super clean and very intuitional, great articles
true, also for eu viewers (and im fairly sure there are quite a few of them) na ends at around 7:30 am
i like td, good map
misfits seem to have fixed mistakes from last week
im thinking about buying nier automata but discount int realy that significant :/ someone played it? (i heard its great but im poor uni student so 42 euro is a lot)
arent they playing against af blue? it doesnt realy matter coz both teams are at the top
envy is starting to look like a team that could take this season
