Is that how rogue is spelled in french or something? Why I always see people spell it this way?

posted about 6 years ago

good point, but I don't see why it would be kondoo releasing them though then. You'd think they'd just be what was left of kongdoo right? But idk you could be right, I definitely think at least most of kongdoo panthera will get picked up.

I think thats what happened is she promised people spots without confirming with the higherups first.

You know I feel like this is definitely a great trade for the outlaws.

idk man I think if their tanks were getting picked up it would be their starters. but I've been wrong before

Most Impressive Team- China
Most Disappointing team- Sweden
Most Surprising playes/Rising stars (I was impressed by a lot of people here) : Moowe, ShaiuLin, Dep/Ameken, Tonic, Luux, Track, Neil, Alemao, Patiphan, Shax, Trill, and Guxue Shy and leave.
Most disappointing players- Sweden dps duo. Really think they should've at least let snillo try and carry a game over sharp, because they need tviq for projectile even though he was terrible. Also I know ckm blades were always countered it wasn't just him flopping, but I think Aus could've given yuki a go and done a little better. And fate definitely underperformed a little bit.
Oh and awesome casting all around by the way! Really refreshing!

sweating yet?

Remember that time toxiken played?

posted about 6 years ago

I wonder why sweden hasn't even tried checking if snillo could carry harder than sharp.

They went 4-0 every game in their group stage last year. And when they played france in the quarter finals they lost 3-1. France at the time was rogue though so can't blame them.

assuming usa ever gets to play korea???

I think the lowest price was 35 mil for the toronto spot. It was more for other NA teams and other spots especially around china were sold for much much more than that because there were a lot more buyers in china that wanted spots and blizzard didn't want to sell anymore than those 3 so it was whoever bid the highest.

Did I call it? I think I called it.

Its funny Jayne was showing how in the Korean contenders finals Runaway baited a shatter out and then sound barriered to counter. And he was very impressed that they did that. And i'm pretty sure Brazil just baited XQCs shatter and did the same thing. Ofc chat was like XQC POG but yeah smart play by brazil.

I don't know how switzerland couldn't get past that obj on gibraltor. I mean poor luux couldn't have carried harder there. Like the amount of picks he got every single fight without taking that objective is depressing. But I was always rooting for norway so I don't mind lol.

Hey now don't count mexico and canada out! hahaha I get your point though.

Come on Blizzard indeed. But your numbers are wrong. 13 NA ( 11 from US) 5 Asian and 2 Eu teams. Although might not be entirely Blizzards fault. I imagine they wanted as many people to buy a slot as they could get. So could be that businesses in EU aren't sure if they want to invest in a slot.

posted about 6 years ago

There is one slot right? Paris is confirmed isn't it? Still though not looking good.

posted about 6 years ago

Damn, I guess I'm a little surprised that they're only letting go those three players. And two of them flame has found a different place for with the org.

posted about 6 years ago

Even if they don't which I think they will show up (they dropped only a single map in SA contenders all season including playoffs) Norway still has a decent roster imo so I think it will be closer than people expect. But SA contenders also isn't the best judge of things so who knows.

Its almost like we've been here before....

Aww silkthread is such a beast though!

100% Agree

I mean mistakes was signed as a tracer one trick, I think he'd be relieved to have an actual flex dps on the team as much as he put time into learning the role.

posted about 6 years ago

but..... but but.. but what about nero :( colourhex is indeed a beast tho

posted about 6 years ago

Hmm its true that we don't know what the meta will be, although I doubt it will be widow mercy tracer again, but feel free to say, "I told ya so" when I'm wrong lol.

posted about 6 years ago

I didn't think he was joking about him being brazilian. And I was joking about the flag I know he has dual citizenship :(. Maybe double woooosh idk.

posted about 6 years ago

Norway is definitely the dark horse here imo.

posted about 6 years ago

Agreed.

posted about 6 years ago

I mean its just revenge for not playing him in the other two world cups.

posted about 6 years ago

um, there is clearly a US flag next to his name making him American

posted about 6 years ago

yeah thats what I was thinking, like they've released dhak now that the mercy meta is over.

I think Paris and Busan will get spots for sure, which leaves one more open because blizzard guaranteed at least 6 spots. So Paris, Busan, Guangzhou, Atlanta, Toronto, and I'm guessing another EU spot.

posted about 6 years ago

He isn't one of their starting seven players. So unless one of the other 3 dpsers gets sick or something he won't show any highlight reels.

That game turned my hair gray. If I'm honest even though I'm a big fan of linkzr I kind of wanted russia to steal a win there, but wasn't to be. Finland deserved it though, really flexible team. Zappis and linkzr both can play just about anything.

posted about 6 years ago

This match is just reminding me how much I like this patch. So many viable comps!

posted about 6 years ago

his pharah all series long has just been nuts!

posted about 6 years ago

This is a match glad I decided to stay up for this. I mean close series little bit of BM, flashy plays, delivering on all fronts really. Also I know mistakes is a tracer main, but the difference between his tracer and widow is really night and day.
