Yeah does anyone know about the pacific region? because that would be like more than half the teams there would have to make huge changes. I think out of the two group last year one of them was entirely korean. As for blank and LFZ I think blank is returning to AU anyways but maybe they were told ahead of time and LFZ was entirely picked up by various owl teams.
That's a good point about the how much more the 8 team cap will effect the korean contenders due to players returning. Hadn't thought of that.
While I think the longer seasons and decrease to the number of teams is shitty, I don't mind that new academy teams will get a shot at contenders first before being relegated. The reason I don't mind is that most of the academy teams will have to pick up the teams that would be in contenders or contenders trials anyways (such as lnl). The region lock I just don't know whether I like or not. On the one hand it'll be nice for people that wouldn't otherwise make it to contenders level to make it there. On the other hand it will probably decrease the level of play instead of increasing it locally. Overtime teams will get better but they will probably always be behind the Korean contenders level. Which lets be honest they are anyways. And in some regions like AU and EU the region lock probably won't matter at all. They better fucking have lans or I will rage.

Sephy picking up sinatraa and dhak in S1, now he picks up nlaaer and dafran. Seems like he trusts and cares about his players a lot which is pretty cool. This is a great roster I think. Every Korean on this team is a powerhouse and Kodak Masaa duo is solid. I wonder if who will get more play time, nlaaer or dafran? Either way I'm excited!
I think you're missing a few things here. Look at any successful modern franchise and none of them hire from exclusively their city. Are the cities in which they're located still considered great sports cities? Yeah. What toronto is trying to say in this video is that pretty much every Toronto branded team sucks and they don't plan to. Thats it. That said I can agree that its annoying how they show themselves as victims in this and the name toronto defiant is pretty bad. Is any team expected to hire from only their area and do well? No. Obviously the way you compete with other cities is not by hiring locally.

Yeah you can switch it up with any of the original 12 team members, as long as only 7 are in the event. So they also could've put in like Fissure or Kariv if they'd wanted.
