I would like to get to know overwatch better competitively but because of conflicting schedules and little-to-no competitive game experience, I can't join some actually good, real pro team. Thus, I am asking if anyone else in a similar predicament would like to play some scrims with me, little-to-no commitment. I play support or tank, mainly Lucio and Reinhardt (idek what the meta is, sorry if that's not it), so if you need someone like that, please hmu.

I have no idea where everyone got the f2p idea from. I knew almost from the start this would be a b2p game, for exactly the reason you are talking about. Blizz just wants to make a fair experience for all of the players. I expected the price tag to be lower, but hopefully a forty dollar cost will eliminate a lot of the annoying, money-grubbing features.

If they price heroes, I don't think it will sway the hardcore crowd, the type who would buy them all anyways, but it will hurt the casual scene. Having to wait forever to buy a new character to play is just the worst. I don't care if the game has a sixty-dollar pricetag, I would rather know that all characters, past and future, will be available for me to use after purchase.

zarya, pharah combo will make big plays. As for solo, a sick tracer or reaper

I think overwatch will be a lot less moddable than the familiar and open source engine. Will it be possible? perhaps, but it is far less likely. Same with community servers, custom gamemodes and skins.

Hopefully this with reign in the shit, but I don't know if it will last when it goes open. If one thing is certain its this: shit prevails

Thank you for explaining I never really understood it but it makes sense now

I think everyone is pretty much unanimous in dislike of the UI. Some of the effects are just blinding, like the killstreaks or healing filter

Hey folks, I am a 4-year tf2 fan, never really got into competitive (I did a season or two of ugc steel but so has everyone and their mother) and I am looking to get into overwatch competitive. I never really got used to tftv but I knew at the least what it was. I am asking for some help from someone more familiar with it to explain the ins and outs of what over.gg is and will be in the future.
