Speedily's addition to the team comes after he spent the season competing with Second Wind, whose playoff run ended with a defeat in five maps against Third Impact in the lower bracket finals. He has been with the team since March, but was not a part of the multi-player and staff departure to the Vancouver Titans early last month.
Finnsi's tenure with the Team Doge core stemmed from the roster's previous banner, Team Envy. He joined the roster at the beginning of the year after being released from the Paris Eternal at the end of the 2019 Overwatch League season.
Recently, two Team Doge players have been the center of promotions to the Overwatch League, with kevster and Onigod joining the Gladiators and Fuel rosters respectively. Both roster changes occurred within the past week.
