Agilities is the second player on the Defiant roster from Canada, joining Toronto native and fellow DPS player Mangachu on the squad. He is also the second player from the Valiant to join the Defiant this offseason, the first being flex support KariV. He was introduced as a member of the Defiant last week.

At the same time KariV was sent to the Defiant, the Valiant announced Agilities was no longer with the franchise. The Defiant didn't officially reveal he was with the team prior to tonight.

KariV and Agilities will continue a partnership that has existed since June of 2017 when KariV first joined Immortals. The pair joined the Immortals' Overwatch League franchise, the Los Angeles Valiant, together with the rest of their teammates before the first Overwatch League season began.

Not all longstanding partnerships will continue, however. The Defiant will become just the second organization Agilities has ever been a part of. He began his career as a member of Sodipop in the summer of 2016 and was signed alongside his teammates to Immortals in September of that year. The Valiant, who are owned by Immortals as stated previously, has been the only Overwatch League team Agilities has played for until now.

The Defiant are continuing a rebuilding effort that has given both their roster and coaching staff a makeover. Their offseason activity comes after the Defiant went 8-20 in their first ever Overwatch League season, including 1-13 in their last 14 matches.

They aren't finished with the tranformation yet, either. The Defiant currently have just seven players on their roster--including one two-way player--and need eight players under contract by November 15.
