Hydration is the first new addition to the Outlaws roster since the team traded for danteh in September of 2018. Hydration and danteh are the only two players signed by the Outlaws who were not members of the Outlaws' original roster.

This will be the first change of scenery for Hydration since he joined the Gladiators' back in November of 2017. He was one of the team's original seven members.

The Outlaws finished 16th in the 2019 season after managing just a 9-19 record. They went 0-7 in Stage 2. Meanwhile, the Gladiators finished in the top six after ending with a 17-11 record and making a short run in the playoffs.

Hydration shared playtime in the 2019 season with Surefour and Decay as the team ran different DPS pairings in different stages. Later in the season, Hydration earned playtime as a tank player. This was especially true in the playoffs when he came off the bench to specialize in Sigma.

The Outlaws have been active the past few days as they have announced their new head coach will be Harsha and they let go of DPS ArHaN.

this is kind of an insane signing, this is a massive upgrade and i think it shows that the outlaws are moving in a good direction. I think they need to improve their off-tank, and probably 3 new support player. keep Rawkus, they obviously think he is valuable for some reason but at least give him some competition within the team. if they do that then the Outlaws should be a very scary team next year

I’m hoping they pick up sleepy and gods. Sleepy is much better then rawkus and gods is one of if not the most experienced owl players based on how long he’s been in the pro scene. He’s really consistent and the dude was eating ultimates left and right on dva. If I’m not mistaken, when Toronto played Washington, he ate 2-3 of stratus’s blizzards on the first map

I think gods would actually be a very good pickup, but I could see some problems picking up sleepy. At this point, which how much sleepy and rawkus are compared to each other, I can’t imagine they would have a good relationship, so if sleepy is picked up rawkus would have to go. And if they do pick up sleepy then they are in a lose- lose situation, because if it sleepy is a good pick up then they are stupid for not doing it soon, if sleepy doesn’t work out then they are stupid for listening to fans. Crimzo from Team Envy would be a really good pickup

I think they would be good with both. The last 2 OWL seasons rawkus hasn’t had the pressure of being benched. Obviously he hasn’t been as good during these last 2 seasons so having competition should motivate him

Jake isn't the problem.

well he hasn't helped either. And Jake is just apart of a larger issue with the Outlaws. They don't adjust to new meta's well (Tracer, Goats,2-2-2-). Jake only does well if its on a junkrat or 76, and they haven't been meta since the Mercy meta. So while he isn't why this team hasn't been sucessful, he hasn't made the team better at the same time.

Outlaws definitely have a problem and they need changes. But still people highly underestimate Jake. Like how this Jakerat meme even was born? The man just ripping whole scene with junk thats how. And he is only improving since then. His pharah and genji are top tier, he can play doomfist, he actually look good on tracer recently, the guy is okay.

I agree that he was mental on Junkrat, but when was the last time Junkrat was in the meta? He doesn't play a good Doomfist or Tracer, and his pharah and genji is average at best
