The Fusion University roster is the same as last season's championship roster except for the additions of Beasthalo and CarCar.
CarCar left Second Wind in December but his new home was never announced officially until now. Nonetheless, he showed up on Fusion University's roster on the Contenders website in January. This announcement confirms he's a permanent addition to the team.
Beasthalo was a member of the undefeated Fusion University rosters in Contenders 2018 North America Seasons 1 and 2. He was not part of the roster in Season 3 nor was he on any other roster during that time. His return to Fusion University also marks his return to competitive Overwatch play.
Fusion University now meet the Contenders roster cap with eight players on their roster.
According to the news post announcing the existence of Montreal's Contenders team, the next season of Contenders will begin February 25.
