Honestly I wouldn't see this as a terrible trade for the Fuel. They're definitely a bit of a mess and I can understand why they'd consider trading EFFECT for SoOn. Personally, I'd also be a bit frustrated if I was EFFECT and regarded as one of the best tracers in the league on a team that hasn't really seen a good showing since quite a long time ago when they were under EnVyUs. I might be speculating a bit but that's the most logical conclusion I could come up with.
At least if this theoretical trade goes through, half of the old Rogue roster would be reunited once again
I dont really understand why people on reddit complain so much about Noah....i mean they give full transparency to the fans, they are trying to solve internal problems trading players and bringing in a new headcoach. Anyway i think is more probably seeing Nenne on Lav rather than effect, but i can see both parties taking this risk to try adjust things(Dallas risk to making even worse their ego problems )
Poi, from my perspective what pissed people off was the video of him doing the "last chance then you are out" speech to one of his players, in a parking lot, otuside of a fast food.
I'm the manager of a department, have to deal with low performing guys every other day, but I would never, and I say NEVER, put one of my guys in such situation, why you ask?
Sorry didn't want to write a poem, but that video really made me unconfortable. :(
I totally agree, I feel like they try to "whiplash" him into a god. Maybe it's a smart move and agilities will actually react positively from the pressure but according to what he said on the video he seems more scared than pumped. And what's the point of this one-to-one meeting on a parking lot if it's shown to the whole world (and his teammates) a few days later ?
Also making it public will only feed the memes and drama, add pressure to agilities' shoulders and prevent them from reconsidering this deal in the case he screws up in game
Maybe OWL's management is encouraging this kind of avoidable drama for storylines purposes. The different teams' "behind the curtains" videos look very similar to reality TV shows narratives
Yeah I pretty much agree 100% with this though I've never been in a management position like you are. That video made me genuinely dislike Noah (previously had no strong opinion of him) and made me feel terrible for Agilities. He's just a kid. A kid in a massive spotlight on him along with all the pressure in the world on his shoulders to try to keep his dream alive.
Not to mention going into this "Last Chance" bullshit, he had to face two of the strongest teams in the league late in the season. They played Philly close as hell and Philly went all out and got unsurprisingly 4-0'd by NYXL. I thought Agilities did fine, he wasn't exceptional but he wasn't a hindrance either. He has plenty of potential and I believe in him. Are we going to get a "Last Chance" segment for SoOn and KariV too? What exactly did they do all of stage 2? Honestly made no sense why they singled out Agilities the way they did. He hasn't even gotten playing time and you are going to throw him in the blender like that?
Really hoping they don't make anymore night-time drama nonsense during their breaks again. Was seriously unprofessional and just an all around douche bag move.
That second tweet is confusing. Are they engaged in trade talks with each other, or just trade talks in general? If they are talking trades with each other, the phrase "various players on both teams" is just unnecessary words, because that's what a trade is...
I kind of feel like he meant they were just talking trades, in general, to the entire OWL.
Anyway, why on earth would Dallas trade Effect, and who would they trade him for? Maybe soon is better, but Dallas has had such tank problems that it's really hard to judge their DPS performance just yet. Getting Soon isn't going to magically fix anything, since we don't even know if that's a problem position.
I feel like maybe, just maybe, Dallas has found a little bit of stability just now. I hope they don't go around and stir the pot more now.
