Dallas Fuel Roster

Hi guys,

What are your toughts on Dallas benching Cocco for xQc ? ( i mean sharing 50% of the time)

i tought xQc playstyle suits more the Fuel aggressive way to play (effect/taimou/mickie) .
Clearly xQc is stronger on Orisa and Cocco is stronger on Rein

Since Rein is almost out of the meta , it looks like xQc brings more to the table than Cocco ( who did not look very great on the OWL preseason)

Of course it's a speculation , but if Dallas keeps winning with xQc , could it became permanent ? Cocco was there from the Envy beginning i hope not for him , but seriously xQc was great.

Could you think Cocco will overcome having some competition ? He hasn't be challenge for the Main Tank sport for a while now...

I'm not sure if he can be consitent, but for Dallas it's a good problem to have ! :)

On the other hand Custa Moira is still to prove (using it on junkertown wasn't the best decision) , he really play well on lucio.

In general the Fuel's roster seems very complete , with a lot of swap based on maps , player shape , resting ? etc..)

I will cheer for this Fuel team , they should go far on this inaugural season

I think for a lot of teams, preseason is a good place to play the people that maybe aren’t going to see as much play during high pressure matches. I wouldn’t take too much out of it for rotations, maybe just a couple things like certain lineups on certain maps. As a huge fan of Cocco I wouldn’t be too worried about it. And if it ends up that xQc plays more than Cocco, then I expect him to use that as motivation.

I agree with you , preseason it's time to experiment , but i'm not that sure the main tank position is settle , maybe it will never be ^_^

In any case xQc is a great pickup for Dallas for everything he brings (passion/talent/personality/exposure)

The whole roster is very strong. However, if there had to be a starting roster to finding the best results, I would have it be:

Mickie
HarryHook
Chipsajen

I wish they would utilize HarryHook as dps again if it would bring results.

It really depends on how they wanna approach their games. Playstyles are different basically. xQc is more agressive, whereas Cocco is more on the defensive side.
It's a good option to have both at this level, will make for different strats and prepare better against the teams they'll have to face.

It also depends on the meta, and the map. I don't think OWL teams will have a starting roster and subs, I think it will be they have the players for particular maps at the time.

For example, Kings Row is a traditional Rein map, so you probably want Cocco, whereas Gibraltar is an amazing Winston map, so you probably want xQc
