The San Francisco Shock have announced the addition of LegitRc to the team's coaching staff. While his exact coaching role has not been defined yet, it is assumed he will be an assistant coach underneath head coach Sephy.
LegitRc most recently coached Cloud9 EU during Overwatch Contenders Season One to a 3rd-4th place finish. Before that, he spent the first half of 2017 coaching Selfless Gaming to a number of podium finishes. His two coaching stints tie him with much of San Francisco's roster.

The Shock's most recent DPS addition, Nevix, played for Cloud9 EU during the entirety of Contenders. Cloud9 EU also briefly brought in DPS sinatraa to trial, although LegitRc's connection with sinatraa dates much further back.
sinatraa, as well as Shock support dhaK, played for the Selfless squad that LegitRc coached. On top of reuniting LegitRc with former players, San Francisco's acquisition of him also reunites him with Sephy, who was both co-owner and coach of Selfless.
San Fracisco Shock are in the Pacific Division for Overwatch League Season 1. The team plays its first live match during the pre-season against rivals Los Angeles Valiant on December 7th, before beginning the regular season with another clash against the Valiant on January 11th.
