In any case they need a win to just guarantee that their Contenders run isn't over.

No, the only way there can be a tie-breaker is if Kung-Hammers tie and C9 loses 1-3 here. If C9 gets 2-2 here then they will get 2nd seed if Hammers beats or ties Kung, otherwise they are out.
