Can anyone stop this man?
Of course you don't like Richard Lewis. People are allowed to believe things that you don't, getting upset over it makes it seem like you're in the same boat as him and don't want to believe it.
Richard Lewis is a talented reporter and interviewer, he isn't "fake" he says what he believes and brings out really interesting sides of people.
Personally I think OWL is going to be successful, I believe in Blizzard but I think the skepticism is justified but shutting people out who think differently isn't the way to go about it. I really hope the OW scene doesn't circle jerk around hating RL like other communities have.
Maybe that isn't what you're implying, I wanna set this straight before I look like even more of an idiot, but it comes off to me as you disagreeing with him.
Yes, because often times people like to disagree with anything Richard Lewis has to say, this happened on r/competitiveoverwatch apparently, his 5 words were very vague and all things considered it seemed more likely that he was leaning to the side of "fuck richard lewis" which to me is unreasonable. I even said at the end that might not be what hes saying, so im not sure why you even made this post lol
#2 is not wrong but i'd like to link a counterpoint
Most of this is about politics and misinformation. I haven't gotten all the way through the video yet, but so far 25 minutes of content as well as the video title itself is about esports orgs and the success of OWL.
The mindset of the community is pretty justified. It's common knowledge that esports is typically organic, seeing Blizzard take an almost opposite route is frightening to most due to the fact that it hasn't been done before. And the lack of details for endemic investors when they have to prepare for Q3 is pretty killer. But hey... PMA BOYS

Is the only part of your response that doesn't add anything to the conversation imo. To me, at least, the disclaimer doesn't quite compensate for that little addition but that's just me, I read too much into things.
Otherwise I agree with you. I believe the league will do well, and truly hope it does because I really like Pro Overwatch. I also hope that he won't go all "Well I told you so huehuehuehue" if it doesn't go as well. On the other hand I also hope he comes around if it does succeed because he's very skeptical at the moment, though I do think he brings up good points.
