I was watching his stream today, and he said he had been sick the last week couldn't practice or be around teammates, so he said he's missing week one to get better. This is defiantly a huge blow to the Shock
KoleeKo [#2]ya it hurts them a little but I don't think its a "huge blow"; out of him, babybay and Danteh he is likely the weakest, and babybay/Danteh can flex to a lot of roles at a pretty high level. Unfortunate tho for sure
On hitscan role he is better than Danthe but Danthe can play projectile....also they already said he is the sub of the team!

I agree, but missing him for a couple of games is not devastating assuming his role would be a substitute to the other two anyways. The only hero IDDQD likely plays better than babybay/Danteh is maybe mccree, but thats more due to babybay not being to showcase his mcree a lot. And as I said Danteh/babybay flex easily onto any hero that IDDQD plays normally
zero [#7]It would be more suprising if he plays more than one week.
Why? He fragged out during preseason, take a look at his stats.
He'll be playing a lot until Sinatraa arrives, and even then, they'll use him plenty.
Just because he wasn't at the forefront of the scene for a while doesn't mean he lost his talent.
penda [#9]This seems like the kind of information you don’t want to leak as the other teams could use it to their advantage in their preparation.
well he said it on stream to 3,000 people, not really a leak then
irishfire [#10]well he said it on stream to 3,000 people, not really a leak then
I mean he probably shouldn’t have said it on stream because it could be used against him and his team.

i see what you mean
cha0 [#13]Interesting that he is too sick to practice with teammates but not too sick to stream 5-7 hours pretty much everyday for the past 2 weeks.
He's probably being extra careful since the flu season here in the states is apparently really bad this year and he doesn't want to get any of his other teammates sick, but who knows

Totally agree with Pixelfish, if in good shape he's still up there with the top western DPS guys (let's say hitscan).

Yeah, they looked and performed much better during the short time of the pre-season he was in. When he came back out they just didn't do as good.
