this whole series will be difined on A. how much Pine will play B. How well he can play and C. How the Valiant prepare/adjust to his play. Pine doesn't have a very large hero pool, as I've only seen him play Mcree and Widowmaker, look for the Valiant run a constant Genji on him or just focus him altogether
LordOfHorns [#2]This is going to be hype
VAL 3-2 NYXL
I like that prediction sir, let it happen universe.
I think New York Xtra Large will win Oasis, because Pine, and the Valiant will win Numbani...I feel like the other maps are a toss up. This really could go either way. New York has very good supports, and Valiant has very good tanks. They both have very good DPS. This is going to be a good game. VAL 3-2 NYE.
All of the match ups today are so interesting, especially this one! I think this will most likely be the battle for the 3rd best team in the league. I think current patch slightly favors LA Valiant since KariV is so good on Mercy.
But like most people said, I think this match will be very close, 3-2 either way.
LordOfHorns [#9]Could we see Grimreality this game? His McCree is stellar
But is his McCree as good as Pine's? Pine really surprised me a lot last week. I knew he was amazing on Widow, but I didn't know he was also god on McCree.

He also plays great Pharah and Genji. But yeah, I am not sure whether he can play it as well as he did on Widow and McCree.
Another crazy match as day 2 this week is fully stacked. Come right out to say that I think LAV win 3-2. I say this with a total lack of confidence in my prediction given how strong both teams have looked but I feel like LAV seem to have better team play at the moment.
Honestly though this could go either way and as long as it's not a blowout I'd be happy with any result.
Explodey [#14]But is his McCree as good as Pine's? Pine really surprised me a lot last week. I knew he was amazing on Widow, but I didn't know he was also god on McCree.
I know it’s not as good as pine’s, but it may be enough to win a few duels, and that could turn the tide
paolodicandio [#19]6 koreans vs 3 koreans do the math D:
1 korean isn't actually enough to carry as we saw from dallas
SoOn is a transKorean and Unkoe too....plus Silkhas asian origins...so he make 1/2 and we are 6 vs 5 1/2
Explodey [#15]He also plays great Pharah and Genji. But yeah, I am not sure whether he can play it as well as he did on Widow and McCree.
I wouldn't call either of those two heroes great, or at least not OWL level of great, so I can see why they'd want to keep him to maps where he is likely to be able to run his strongest heroes.
bweesh [#32]Ummmm. Did I load the page wrong? It says that VAL won two out of three of the Oasis rounds, but NYXL won the map?
You are right, round 3 should be the other way around.
Valiant seemed off. I don’t even think they played that bad. Their Junkertwon attack was... weird. I don’t understand why they used silkthread rather than Agilities. I mean, agilities has the better genji right? His Dragonblades can totally turn the fight. Fate also got picked way too much. I fell asleep before the third map, but I’m going to say Valiant just had a bad day. Hopefully they can change it up before the game against Spitfire
