why mention "online"? playing well online is a part of being a good team, nobody should disagree with this. and bo1 means that they lost once. slip ups can happen, but if a team loses a game to another it's clearly a close matchup

OK I think you strayed a little too far with that analogy. Fnatic have been looking poor recently yeah, but it was a king's row bo1 against a team with some decent talent and they've still got Vone+Haffi on eu ping. Not enough to slam Fnatic into the garbage yet, but after their games in korea and the choke at vegas you can take the lid off the trashcan for sure.

Vonethil and Haffi are in EU since APEX ended so the ping difference should also be taken into account. Still doesn't excuse that loss imo but it should be taken into consideration.

yeah I know it was exaggerated. I played on a team with half of the players from "you guys get paid?" and they're talented and have worked really hard to try going pro. It makes me mad when up and coming teams are discounted for beating pro teams. People did that to Kungarna (now Splyce) and bird noises (now LG Evil) during the Winter Premiere because "LUL quad-tank meta" since they love their popular closed beta personalities and teams so much like Seagull and Fnatic.
