Puckett first worked in Overwatch as a host for MLG Vegas in 2016. He didn't work again until the first ever seasons of Contenders in 2017.
Nonetheless, he joined the talent lineup for the inaugural season of the Overwatch League in 2018. He was a host in both of the league's seasons.
This announcement follows yesterday's announcement of MonteCristo leaving Overwatch. Overwatch League talent contracts expired this week.
Puckett is not the first Overwatch League host to decide to go freelance. Goldenboy was one of the Overwatch League hosts in the 2018 season but did not return to the league as a host in 2019. Still, he ended up working as a stage host during the various homestand weekends and for the grand finals.
