Same, we definitely called them both. I also grew up like an hour from Canada, so I must have absorbed your Northern lingo through osmosis somehow

Wait, really?Have you guys really not heard of these???? We always had a huge box of these in the freezer growing up.

Is this just a regional thing?

Will somebody ring the Dinkzr??

Will Muma have to carry 5 grown men on the back of a gigantic German Man/Mutant Gorilla???

Will Jake play the Good Tracer or the Bad Tracer???

Am I still in love with Coolmatt??? (Yes, asked and answered.)

Let's found out in this weeks episode of "Which Version Of Houston Is Showing Up Tonight?????"!!!!!!

I kinda hope it trends that way because it’ll make the playoff race so much more intersting!

What is Brigitte meta

You're definitely right, but looking at it this way also proves how valuable Jjonak is for NYXL.

He's like having a third DPS on the field at all times, and never really needs too much peeling. Mano/Janus and Meko are pretty much free to just wreck shit all the time since Jjonak can more than take care of himself. In most cases, I feel like it's Ark/Anamo/SBB peeling for him if he really needs it (although SBB's playstyle kind of inherently calls for those kinds of duels with the enemy DPS)

Also along those lines of "most valuable" and not just "best", I think both Fissure and Gamsu have to be included in those conversations because of the sher amount of value they offer their team.

It's either Carpe/SBB/Jjonak/Libero, nobody else comes close besides MAYBE Surefour when he's really in the zone

Watching SHD just run into the Brigitte comp over and over again while Daemin just played mystery heroes was so painful

The fun part about medical insurance in the US is that even if you do have it, treatments can still be incredibly expensive.

pssssttt.....do any of the NY people here have any plans for a meet up for this? I'm sure there will be some sort of deadly venoms event or something.

You've been knocking it out of the park with the write up's lately dude!!!

I didn't think about the Friday thing either, shit.

posted about 6 years ago

Yeah!!!! Besides this being like 25 minutes from my apartment, that's the most exciting prospect to me. It's going to be interesting to watch how that makes the team change their game plans an cook up weird, hidden strategies.

Sorry I didn't take the time to reply to you because I'm literally a work and have better things to do, thanks! :)

Do you have an issue with all of the NY boys and girls who haven't been able to go to a single OWL match also?

I've been thinking a lot about the disparity in skill level through out the whole league and I feel like it's a lot better off than a lot of traditional sports leagues. What's important about some of the worse teams (Florida, SHD, Dallas) is that they ave these really passionate fan bases surrounding them. It's so crucial for them to have that support because it makes them want to improve and show up for their fan base. Like it is such a good feeling (right before the crushing defeat) to hear the stadium going absolutely nuts when SHD pulls off a play because people loooooove them.

It reminds me of a club like Aston Villa who is kind of shit, but has this super rich history and fan base surrounding them. That support makes it so much more sustainable in the long run to invest and grow a team, and fosters this community that really loves watching them.

Bang on. I always think about how NYXL allowed Pine to take a break for all of stage 2, and he's been phenomenal since coming back.

I don’t know, he was absolutely terrible on that Route 66 defense.

They need to stop forcing this strange concept of "Jake playing tracer". Getting exposed so hard rn by Sinatraa.

I will laugh for the rest of my life if that last map that Philly dropped stops them from making playoffs

Great write up Scrub! These keep getting better and better.

Love the insights into how well Dynasty treats their players/staff as well. You really get the sense that they care about them beyond just the immediate results.
