If Sweden 3:1 Australia it would also lead to a tie for 1st place, so there's two potential scenarios for ties in group C at the moment, SWE/AUS for 1st and SWE/PRT for 2nd.

If Sweden 3:1 Australia it would also lead to a tie for 1st place, so there's two potential scenarios for ties in group C at the moment, SWE/AUS for 1st and SWE/PRT for 2nd.
Result effects on group standings:
Sweden 4:0 Australia means Sweden take 1st in group.
Sweden 3:1 Australia means that it's a tie for first place in group
Australia taking 2 maps or more means that Australia lock in 1st in group
On a side-note if Australia 4:0 Sweden and Portugal 4:0 Italy it would mean that Sweden and Portugal would be tied for 2nd place as well.
Relevance is irrelevant, ac/dc is always worth.
Usually they would run all the quarterfinals at the same time and stream one but then they only run one semifinal at a time so they can stream both of them and then the grandfinal, so 4 matches would be streamed. Also according to the event page this is the way it's being run as well.
So they should stream 1 quarterfinal, both semifinals and the grandfinal.
Because it just determines group standings it's just 4 maps, not a best of series. If teams end up tied in the group standings then I think they just use maps won vs maps lost. Not sure what they do if that's the same as well but odds are it probably won't happen.
2nd team needs to be called 'mini me', so that we can tell them to stop humping the lazers. That is all.
I'm surprised there hasn't been more people mentioning the Roadhog hook and turn change, where it won't move people directly in front of him if he rotates dramatically. This should mean no more hooking and then turning to the side to drag people to an environmental death.
Be interesting to see how this affects hog pick rates on places like last point Kings Row defence, where this was a very common strategy to hook, turn and drop people to death on the gap in the floor on the 1st corner. It was also common on places like Illios well for good Roadhog players to do something similar, didn't need drag them across the well, would just hook, turn and drop them down. If I read the patch notes correctly then it won't move them in front of him if he rotates, so this won't work anymore.
Edit: I should clarify that I don't mean this to be the main change affecting pick rate as it's situational, being based on people being in a position to be hooked. Added to the other changes though, especially in these areas where good Hog players would frequently find these hook/turn kills...
Pretty much as said above, this game would've only had potential impact if rogue had taken 2 maps from LH (or won obviously), since they lost 3-0 this game no longer has any impact.
They were obviously the best of the teams involved in the monthly melee. It was even a double elimination playoff bracket with seeding determined by group round robin the previous day, so plenty of opportunity for the teams involved to work their way through the event.
The double elimination format even provided a way for teams to come back from upsets against possible surprise strats, so it could be argued that consistent ability is even more prominently rewarded in the OMM than the single elimination format of the rumble which can see a victory brought about from some surprise strategy with no opportunity to come back from it, though I understand that both formats have their pros and cons.
To be honest I don't really care and personally think YIKES! tend to rely mostly on pharmercy but felt the point needed to be made since you basically just sounded like you're tilted they beat your favoured team
Professionalism is only needed to sucker in the big sponsors at the start. After that people want drama and scandal to create big headlines and gossip. Outside the 5 o'clock news the biggest headlines and most popular articles are whatever is the most scandalous things or drama filled feuds that people can dig up.
For whatever reason the majority of people seem to enjoy hearing and reading about the biggest holes that those more well-known than them can dig themselves into. Or maybe I'm just cynical shrug.
again...and again...
I mean I hate the meme and other teams have done it but C9 just keep doing it >_<
The analysis and coaching talk afterwards must be good fun.
Bishop: "So what went wrong team?"
C9 team: "We all left the point and noone watched it"
Bishop: "So what do we do team?"
C9 team: "We say we're going to learn from this but really we're just going to do the same thing again, cause we like being a meme and Surefour's fanboys will jump to our defense for us"
Most of those people love selfless because of the bm and shit talk, so anti-hero?

Is this proof enough? All from a few days ago.
what did he predict? (also were did you see his prediction?)
He said LH 3-0 several times on stream today. Whether that's an actual prediction or just what he'd like to happen, I guess we'll see if he posts a prediction.
TviQ Mei back for more Hanamura.
Blizz tournaments always bring out the 2CP though, so shouldn't be surprising to many people.
Selfless, assuming that Sinatraa's statement that 'we' don't want to reschedule was on behalf of the majority of their players, since they were all in discord.
xQc was also very vocal about not being happy with it, saying he'd rather be disqualified than have it rescheduled, though that was his personal opinion I'd imagine, not a team stance.

You could easily continue it and upload the VOD later for people to watch. It was only the live stream that was affected, not the game itself.
Especially as at least 1 of the teams quite vocally didn't want to reschedule it.
Reading the comments I think that a number of people believe that these are the first 3 members of the team. They're, not. They're the national committee that builds the team.
Can they be on the team? Yes.
Will they be on the team? Who knows. Maybe, maybe not. That's the national committee's choice.
Guess you'll have to wait for them to find a new guy first. The post from Shayed says that they're performing tryouts through the week, so they haven't actually got a replacement lined up.
LG will have a hard time finding someone to replace Esper, He's still one of the best Mercy's around and the ones who most would count as better I don't think are likely to leave their top tier teams.
