"Fangays"? Really?
Anybody know if Gods and/or Pooks has commented on this? I feel bad for them, though I understand the motivations behind NRG's move.
It's a political thing. See wiki:
Anybody know why this happened? Was Chinese Taipei at some inadvertent disadvantage the first time?
So I've noticed that players are squeezing packets of...something. Presumably this is to relieve cramps? Is that right? What are they squeezing?
It was happening to me pretty consistently during that last match.
Well that was certainly an exciting first match!
My heart says NRG, but my head says Fnatic. Luckily, Fnatic is my second favorite team, so even if NRG lose, it's not so bad.
Loved seeing the creative strats that NRG went for in this game. Fun stuff.
Easily one of the most entertaining matches of OW I've ever seen. Well played, both teams!
Holy cow. So many surprises tonight. What an amazing series of matches!
Congrats to NRG! Can't wait to watch them in Atlanta!
Rise Nation dominates Complexity and now getting utterly owned by NRG. FeelsConfusingMan
Well that Hollywood match was seriously exciting!
I like Fnatic a lot, but this is so one-sided I feel bad for Mono.
I missed this match. Did Rogue play poorly compared to last weekend or did FaZe just play really well (or both)?
Holy wow. The "well" map on Ilios!! PogChamp
Yet another really exciting matchup!
I said some mean shit about the TJO bros a couple weeks back. Allow me to apologize. Complexity showed up on LAN, without a doubt!
Really amazing match. Congrats go to Rogue.
Great match, but casters are so busy creating narratives that they're missing what's actually happening in the game.
Exciting! I'm rooting for Fnatic, but I don't think I'm going to be able to pull myself out of bed at 4:20 am to watch. FeelsBadMan.
Whether you agree with that amount of money being spent on a one-time cup that has no relevance in the wider Overwatch scene, it definitely shows that Blizzard are committed to pushing Overwatch further and further forward.
Blizzard is presumably making gobs of money off of Overwatch. This sounds like an interesting way to spend some of that money to promote the game.
Do we know how much of this will be cast on Twitch?
I think you mean that the controversy largely caused by the fact that two of the players have a known--and recent!--history of cheating in other games.
We think we could have found good replacements. TSM was willing to buy out players from other teams. But with ELEAGUE and ESL coming up, we really wanted to attend those.
That doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement of his teammates from harbleu. I hope after the current major tournaments are done, this team finds some non-cheating DPS players.
Gods, I presume. He had a lot of trouble tonight, though perhaps some of that was due to how godly (pun intended) IDDQD played.
This is gonna be a tough one for NRG. Hope they've been practicing!
Ecks Dee's - love the name! :D
What a match!
According to the upcoming matches listing, dummy is now playing for LG against Liquid today. Is that a typo?
Wish this had been streamed!
The end of that match, man. Jesus. :(
Much smoother streams tonight, and there were some fantastic matches!
I watched two of the matches so far. During both matches, the stream crashed for several minutes straight. I hope this is fixed in the future.
Just like a previous match, the stream goes down in the middle. Please get your shit together, BtS.
And...the stream died during the first match. Hope it comes back soon!
The format of these matches is terrible. Please adjust.
While it did seem that LG was having Mercy problems, I'm somewhat surprised they replaced Esper before having somebody else in place. Perhaps they just want sufficient time to practice with the new Mercy prior to the big 100K tournament?
