Everyone on our team was the reason for our success. A lot of times Super and Jake were flashier because almost of all our team play focused on giving them resources (peel/heals) more than our other players while Train was expected to do his job with minimal resources, all while Rob/Voll/Myself had to ensure those players were enabled so we stayed quiet.

We were great because we were a team first and foremost don't forget that in Overwatch.

I haven't played ranked for any length of time in months. Just did placements, got Top 500, then stopped playing and decayed.

If you're looking for enjoyment the only real way to play the game for fun rn is to play PTR quickplay with friends or be on an actual team sadly. If there are PUG groups they're inhouses, no real systems in place.

Hammers wasn't even a roster during the NGE qualifiers it was Bird Noises and the team dissolved temporarily due to Immortals poaching a player from them. If Bird Noises didn't break up temporarily they probably would have qualified.

The problem with this meta in particular for NRG is that it exacerbates their weak points and takes away their strong points that were somewhat keeping them afloat before.

They have strong DMers with clockwork, seagull, and engima but this meta the DPS roles are extremely weak due to huge healthpools and burst healing.

They have weaker communication and teamplay/strategy than their top team counterparts (fnatic cloud9 etc..) which the tank meta requires

Overall bad days ahead for NRG because regardless of the meta shift they were certainly having problems before.

I can't really say about Bird Noises except for that when their last iteration was alive they had plenty of results.

Citizen 7 is certainly good enough. So are Spicy Boys.

Regardless that doesn't detract from the fact that they got the sponsorship and I wish them the best. Hope they get the big wins.

All I can say is I hope they make the most of it when Bird Noises, Kungarna, Spicy Boys, and Citizen 7 are still not sponsored.

One hero limit makes this game fun.

2 2 2 meta makes me sad.

You see legitimately more interesting games with a 1 hero limit compared to the old 2/2/2 meta. With more heros added it will become increasingly more interesting and varied in comparison to a no hero limit meta.

Will this series be switching to strategies revolving around a 1 hero limit since that's where the meta is currently trending towards
