As the only real tournament going right now in Europe, Glory4gamers Overwatch XTRA Cup has managed to lure out some of Europe's best domestic talent at short notice with a €5000 prize pot, four team LAN finals at Studio G4G in Paris (although no expenses for attendees!) and coverage on Twitch and MyTG1.

The tournament starts right now and the 64 team limit has already be fulfilled. Here are a few of the more notable participants:

Format

The online portion of the tournament is a double elimination bracket with best-of-three fixtures. Maps are banned until three remain use OWDraft. Maps draws are settled by best-of-one on a drafted control map.
