Welcome @Kronus_OW to our Overwatch Contenders roster!#TogetherWeTriumph pic.twitter.com/JLyfYQCBwd
Kronus previously played for Shu's Money Crew EU in the Contenders Europe Seeding Tournament. He helped the team finish in the top six of that tournament. He had no experience in Contenders or Contenders Trials prior to that tournament.
He comes in as a replacement for Halo, who played main support for Triumph in the Contenders North America Seeding Tournament. They finished in the top six of that 16-team tournament.
Halo was signed by the Uprising last week and made his debut for the Uprising this past weekend. The announcement of his signing came just a day after Triumph played in Contenders Trials.
Kronus gives the Triumph an all-European support line to play alongside their all-European tank line. All four of their DPS players are Americans.
Triumph next play in a rematch with Revival this Tuesday in the first tournament of Contenders 2020 North America.
