EQO's return to the team comes as a surprise after the team wrote their farewells to him last week. EQO has spent the last two seasons as Carpe's primary DPS partner on the Fusion roster.
Additionally, the Fusion's announcement confirms an ESPN report from last week that stated Carpe had re-signed with the Fusion. The ESPN report stated the contract extension will last through the 2022 season, although the Fusion have yet to confirm that detail.
This roster reveals announces several changes to the Fusion roster beyond these moves. Other moves the announcement made official is the transfer of Ivy to the Fusion from the Defiant, the transfer of FunnyAstro to the Fusion from the Reign and the Fusion's trade with the Spitfire for Fury.
The Fusion currently have nine players on their 2020 roster. They needed just eight to reach the league's minimum roster size.
