This is the latest move in the Mayhem's shift to a fully-Korean roster, which began in April.

Apply joined Mayhem Academy in April of last year. He remained with the team for the rest of the year, even as it changed rosters between Contenders seasons.

He signed a two-way contract with the Mayhem in September at a time when the franchise was still committed to fielding a mixed roster.

He eventually became a full-time member of the Mayhem roster in late Stage 1 when he played in the team's final four matches of the stage.

Unfortunately for Apply, he would not play for the Mayhem again after that. The team made the decision to field a roster that was entirely Korean between Stage 1 and Stage 2. As a result, he spent Stage 2 on the bench.

Since making that decision, the team has traded McGravy and two members of Mayhem Academy to the Valiant in exchange for Fate, and has also signed Byrem.

TviQ is the only remaining western player on the Mayhem roster, following the release of Apply.

The Mayhem's next match is June 6 against the Dynasty.
