have announced the retirement of DPS
kensi
. He has played professionally since 2016.
We are sad to announce the retirement of Artem “kensi” Budiak. Thank you for being a member of the Eternal Academy Team. We wish you luck in whatever you decide to do next. #FiatLux @kensi_OW pic.twitter.com/twqy5GCnBC

. He remained with the same five teammates throughout 2018 and finished in the top four of both Contenders Seasons 1 and 2 and in the top eight of Contenders Season 3.
Most recently, kensi was a member of Eternal Academy. He and his teammates fell short of the high expectations placed on them as only the second academy team in Europe and finished seventh in the first season of Contenders 2019, one spot outside of a playoff berth.
kensi played hitscan throughout much of his career but became known for his Mei during the latter half of 2018 as he and his teammates on Winstrike ran Mei against Europe's top GOATs teams.
Eternal Academy will now need to sign a new DPS player to replace kensi. They will need to earn their way back into Contenders Season 2 2019 Europe with a run in Contenders Trials.
