This is the first time an Australian organization has entered the South American scene.

Team GDV Esports qualified for the playoffs of Contenders Season 2 South America last season under the name Breakdown Gaming prior to signing with Team GDV. The roster was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Isurus Gaming in a 3-1 match.

As a result of their playoff qualification, the roster is guaranteed a place in the next season of Contenders. As of right now, FURY is the only organization not from South America competing within Contenders South America.

The roster has some time before it can show off its skill under its new organization. The next season of Contenders begins in November.
