At the beginning of September, Melty proved that they were willing to make tough decisions in an attempt to improve by cutting former captain MoonL. They have continued that trend, removing Flippy from the active roster and bringing in Badger and Hqrdest to fill the vacant spots, sources close to the team have indicated.
Melty had previous considered opening up the team to European team-members by transitioning to English communication. With Norwegian Badger now on the roster, this is a necessity for the team. They were seen playing with the new roster in the Underdogs Season 1 Grand Final, where Melty lost 3-0 to Misfits despite some close maps.
Still free agent as Dps / Flex, looking for a top @PlayOverwatch team.

Badger has been brought in on tank to directly replace MoonL. He has a wealth of competitive experience in SMITE, as a top player since the launch of the game with multiple World Championship appearances under his belt. Hqrdest is a French dps player previously seen with Redskins; his addition to the roster allows baud to move to flex - a role that should fit him given he has played almost every spot in Melty at this point.
When approached for comment, the coaching team said that the new roster showed potential in their close 2-3, 2-3 losses on Lijiang Tower and Nepal against Misfits, and that an official announcement would be coming soon.
The new Melty roster is:
- Julien ”baud” Robert (flex)
- Jeremy “Hqrdest” Danton (dps)
- Nicolas ”NiCO” Moret (dps)
- Bo "Badger" Katzenmaier (tank)
- Théo "Tek" Guillebaud (support)
- Laurent “DeGuN” Prinderre (support)
