There's also AGA and Gameroos that tend to have lesser teams but there's nothing stopping you from signing up to the more high profile comps - need teams of all skill levels!

There aren't really any 'professional' teams in Overwatch in Australia (yet?), but there are some teams which are sponsored, presumably for not much more apart from lan support & peripherals at this point in time. Don't be afraid to sign up - playing against better opponents is the best way to improve
