Former Support ory made a statement on the Chiefs website about his stepping down:
Unfortunately I’ll be stepping down due to personal health reasons and will no longer be able to compete with the team. I’d like to thank my team for an incredible few months and the accomplishments we achieved together and the Chiefs organisation for giving myself and the team a fantastic opportunity and excellent support. I wish them both the best in the future. I will have a backup role and still be involved with the team for whatever the future may bring.
His replacement, Zellogs, has history playing Support for top Australian team Macreeans. After the team lost yuki to Untitled Spreadsheet and had other players with time commitment issues, Macreeans folded allowing Zellogs to use his talents on the top team in the region. Chiefs player aporia said of Zellogs that he "has a good attitude, is keen to improve and fits in well".
The Chiefs squad is now:
- Daniel "Dorky" Stevens (Flex)
- Karl "Snowblind" Chapman (DPS)
- Jackson "HeyKatie" Taylor (DPS)
- Jake "termo" Hickman (Tank)
- Bradley "aporia" Philpott (Support)
- Luke "Zellogs" Gerrard (Support)
- "ory" (Sub/Coach)
