Masterminds’ new roster will compete alongside their sister team under the name Masterminds Blue. Coach of Masterminds, Smeves, had this to say about the acquisition of 1 Star Uber:
"It will be great having 2 teams that can work together to improve and run targeted practice with the specific aim of developing strategies for both sides."
1 Star Uber competed in the CyberGamer OCE Circuit under the name willWEED, earning an impressive third place finish with a notable victory over ESL ANZ champions Athletico CAMO. The roster then underwent changes post-lan with the departure of Billa, Frogger and JDoggies and the additions of Birdy, tails and Colourhex.
The Masterminds Blue roster stands as:
- Macyn (DPS)
- Colourhex (DPS)
- tails (Flex)
- Knellery (Tank
- Dalsu (Support)
- Birdy (Support)
- jamiec (Coach)
