Following the departures of Beasthalo and SPACE, You Guys Get Paid? have added Chayne and Smex to their respective roles as tank and flex.

Chayne joins YGGP? after a brief stint with ex-Fnatic after the team tried to piece itself together after the roster was released by its organization. Smex joins after previously playing with nerdRage and a brief run on th0nkers. Smex is the first non-North American to join the team since the original lineup included main tank HarryButcher.

Since first making themselves known to the world by beating Fnatic on their way to qualifying for the PIT Championship back in March, YGGP? has journeyed down a rocky road on their quest to getting paid. While the team has consistently beat the likes Rockets Esports and EnVision Esports, they have failed to best more established teams.

To complicate matters, the team had lost players before Overwatch Contenders Season Zero since their last tournament in April. Flex player SPACE left the team to join YIKES! and main tank Beasthalo recently left the team for Tempo Storm.

Despite this, the team performed well enough with their two new additions to qualify for the group stages of Contenders during the first day of qualifiers. YGGP? ended up being eliminated in the Round of 8 in a 2:1 series. YGGP? will be playing in the group stages of Contenders Season Zero this weekend in Group B.
