Bearhands (team usa gm) did an interview on high noon podcast where he infered on seagull and jake as well as others. Nothing specific was said but if you listen then you can judge for yourself.

Doubtful. Taimou went 36:18 (+18 KD) in just shy of 33 minutes played. Akm went 22:14 (+8 KD) in nearly 27.5 min of play. So Taimou died 4 more times in 5 extra minutes of playtime but he accrued 14 more kills. Possibly more troubling is that AKM needed 5 resurrections to Taimou's 1 despite playing 5 fewer minutes in the match which indicates AKM is being picked early in fights (often before they even had time to engage).

Everyone overreacts as usual and he doesn't deserve the "AKM LUL" spam in chat but it's hard to expect a different mob reaction imo, especially given the casters' usual reaction as well. Taimou gets a highlight reel from the OWL casters and cameras for two matches and then AKM subs in at which point no one can stop highlighting how often AKM gets picked early.
