Curious to see how Boston reacts to the "new" meta with all its changes having lost their lead coach, for tha reason alone I'd say Phillie has a good chance.

Watch it if you didn't see it. Striker kills 4 on point but Carpe doesn't let that stop him

Imagine killing 4 and not even getting best play of the team fight lmao, Carpe is next level nutty

I was literally speechless.
He might not be the MVP and best overall player in OWL, but when he pops off he pops off like no one else.

It's either Carpe/SBB/Jjonak/Libero, nobody else comes close besides MAYBE Surefour when he's really in the zone

Libero probably isnt in that conversation, mostly based on consistency. I'd actually put Fleta above him since the latter tends to have more impact on matches more often, despite his team struggling hard.

I'd agree, even thou Fleta had a really bad stage 2 (not just his fault of course), while for Libero, eh depends how you intend MVP I guess.

If it's raw talent on a couple of heroes, for sure not at the same level of the others, but damn he's so good as so many heroes, and they aren't even his main heroes, he's probably my MVP if I look at it from a "value perspective" on how many roles you can put him in, and still expect to perform at an OWL level.

EDIT:
btw the only other play that left me so speechless as Carpe's one, was the general performance of SBB during the last stage finals, he won them that match, that was closer than how it might look like imo.

Philly/Seoul wouldn't be that high without Carpe/Fleta, but how high NYXL would be, if one of Jjonak, SBB or Libero would not be playing like they are playing?

If we go by MVP (Most Valuable Player) definition for his team, it's clearly Carpe or Fleta. Sometimes people think MVP is same as Best Player and this is, where Carpe or Fleta might be as clear choice.

At least it's only 25% fan vote and 75% from OWL analysts/casters (who hopefully vote for Most Valuable Player for his team)

You're definitely right, but looking at it this way also proves how valuable Jjonak is for NYXL.

He's like having a third DPS on the field at all times, and never really needs too much peeling. Mano/Janus and Meko are pretty much free to just wreck shit all the time since Jjonak can more than take care of himself. In most cases, I feel like it's Ark/Anamo/SBB peeling for him if he really needs it (although SBB's playstyle kind of inherently calls for those kinds of duels with the enemy DPS)

Also along those lines of "most valuable" and not just "best", I think both Fissure and Gamsu have to be included in those conversations because of the sher amount of value they offer their team.
