Does Korean Meta Dominate OW Meta Too Much?

I've been watching a lot of VOD's from the past few months, and it seems like whatever the korean style is becomes Meta, and I'm wondering if there is room for people to break out into their own meta's. Mostly, I was thinking about McCree and how he has fallen out of meta, but is still a very strong dps that can be be built around. Also, watching NV in Contenders with their various strategies made me think, maybe the way to beat KR isn't to join them, but to innovate past them. Thoughts?

The Koreans haven't innovated metas as much as they've adopted and adapted what other regions have discovered. They figure them out and then simply know how to play them, and beat them, relatively better than the rest of the world.

So the way to beat them could in part be by innovating, but more importantly you need to play at a consistently high level to either match or outpace them and in general that's not something most western teams are used to doing.

OWL should help us remedy that by being exposed to their level of play on a more regular basis, and hopefully them not being in Korea doesn't adversely affect them or contribute to a dip in perceived skill.

i think koreans just put more time into strat and antistrat
they all have like 2 - 3 coaches that will point out the pros & cons from everyteam and like faker from League of Legend said once "koreans will always dominate any game that has strategy > raw aim when the game is supported by big orgs in korea"

The C9 meta transcends time, space and nationalities.
