In all seriousness though, why aren't the teams these players play for the ones that get invited to international tournaments? Detonator has played in both APAC and the Pacific Championship, and their players are obviously not as good as the ones we see this team.

I absolutely love when lowkey talent such as Japan comes in and destroys everyone's expectations. Hope to see more of them and perhaps even some of those players competing over in the West. That AKTM guy is fucking nuts at the game. If this isn't one of the Top 10 Anime Powerups of all time then idk what it is.

As far as I know only Jasper and deartn are on Libalent Supreme, the rest aren't on notable teams it would seem. Reading through Shank's introduction to team Japan I don't think most of their home teams would be the ones invited to tournaments.

That could change with this match but it seems this "super team" is straight up over achieving, and it's a beautiful thing.

because money. 1st invitational season, blizzard only offer to orgs with money, to ensure their guys get salary and team houses and all misc expenses covered.
