Harry vs Taimou... which laugh is going to win?
KuroiRyuu9625 [#5]I don't know how strong Japan and Vietnam are but I think these two teams have a solid chance of coming out 1 and 2 from this group. Will be interesting to see how this plays out...
With the loss to Japan Spain will absolutely need to play their hearts out because if they lose here and Japan wins vs Vietnam they're done.
Didn't expect this result at all, but it's a tall order for Spain's DJ nation if they want to keep their hopes alive.
Unless Spain steps up their game, and keeps Harry on soldier, Finland will win. I think Finland will win regardless, but Spain has the potential to upset a couple maps and make the series closer than expected. But, for now, I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and call Finland clean sweeping once again.
I think Spain's mindset is the most worrying thing here - their frustration during the match versus Japan was palpable. HarryHook on 76 was exceptional, but the switch happened too late and one Carry does not a team make. The other factor is that they don't seem to have a solid D.Va at the moment, and that is troublesome given the current meta - even if it's been established in their first match that Finland is not exactly a slave to dive comp either. Unless all of this shakes itself out overnight, it's just very hard to tip against Finland.
KuroiRyuu9625 [#11]These Australia groups are freakin' awesome. So entertaining!
Yeah, Group D is a complete toss up. Group C not so much but still so close!
Everything went wrong for Finland, and everything went right for Spain. Whenever Finland tried something new out it fell face first meanwhile when Spain tried new strats, they all worked clinically, on top of that lots of overextension from Finland, and weird moments of disarray(Playing soloQ style of brawling, communication mistakes, C9 multiple times and not capitalizing on support ultimates). Overall very odd performance from Finland, but good game nonetheless, and most importantly insane performance from every single Spanish player individually.
This loss really throws this Group into flux. Japan is a expected to win against Vietnam and Spain is pretty much expected to win against them tomorrow as well.
That means Finland MUST beat Japan and hope that they enter a three way tie in both match victories and map scores.
Considering how crazy this group has been anything could happen. But man, they're going to need some luck in their side now.
