The Community Countdown will begin Saturday, February 9. The first two days of the event will be scrims broadcast for fans to watch. Each team in the Overwatch League will play in one scrim over the two days, making it so every team plays in a grand total of 10 matches. The first day will be broadcast on Jayne's channel. The second day will be streamed on ZP's Twitch channel.
The third day, to be broadcast on ChanmanV's Twitch channel, will feature various 1v1 matches. The day will begin with Ashe 1v1 matches and then will transition to Ana Paintball 1v1s.
February 12 -- the fourth day -- will feature 6v6 Capture the Flag matches. There will be four matches played by eight teams. This will be broadcast on ZP's Twitch channel.
The final day, which will be broadcast on the official Overwatch League Twitch channel, will cap off the preseason with a showmatch featuring Overwatch League broadcast talent and various streamers.
Following that, the Overwatch League regular season will kick-off on Valentine's Day. The first match of the regular season is a grand finals rematch between the Philadelphia Fusion and the London Spitfire.
