ive yet to come across anything to play pickup games for OW. does such a thing exist? how does one get into scrimming overwatch without immediately joining a team?
Hello everyone. I am zookeeper#1864. I am looking for a committed team that wants to participate in leagues and tournaments. My PC gaming background starts around age 7 or 8 with Starcraft- my first FPS experience being Halo:CE. I began to take games competitively when I played TF2 as part of the Orange Box. I played TF2 in the 6v6 format for a while, also dabbling in games such as Quake Live and Warsow. I have been following Overwatch since it's beta and have been playing for about two months now. My season high in competitive so far is 61, but I am not stopping there. My best heroes are Soldier:76, Pharah, McCree, and D.va, though I am quickly learning how to play Zarya, Genji, and Reaper. The most important thing to me that a team must exhibit is retention- in other words, I am looking for a group who can keep it together. Absolutely no ragers, and nobody going home after a couple of losses. I am looking to take this game as far as it can go, and for me that means winning major events. I am somebody who keeps a cool head under pressure, and I am quite comfortable acting as a leader or co-captain. Ideally, you are an established team looking for just one more player. I may even consider backing up if your team looks promising. If you think your team fits the bill, please hit me up on battle.net and let's give this a shot.
I am located in the Eastern timezone, with an open/flexible schedule. If the team is right, I will fit your scrim and match times.
hey im not 70+, im climbing the 60s solo or with friends if im lucky. i have some comp experience and have been interested in overwatch competitively as soon as it came out. i mainly dps as pharah or mccree, and can play zarya/rein/winston decently. im still learning lots about the game and how to use certain heroes, but i think i could fit in with the team as i am very dedicated and something i preach to others is communication and team synergy. let me know if you think its worth a shot! :)
