Looks nice!
The "Send Message" text on profiles is split into two lines, one under the button in portrait mode on a galaxy s6 on both chrome and firefox.

This one is small, but the nav bar looks like it doesn't connect to the left side of the screen when viewed on chrome; there is a thin line of white pixels to the left of the over.gg logo.

The date text under a team's match history can get cut off (scores on the team's match page get too close to the right side as well).

All user flags in my PM box show up as the UN flag, happens on desktop as well.
The Inline Formatting table goes past the container border on the formatting page (chrome/firefox)

The preview button covers the code and spoiler buttons above the post/edit post textbox.
Guess I'll become an EnVy fan now. Glad to see DFW getting in on the action.
Recent discussion is still there, it just doesn't appear to render on pages that aren't the index page. If you use Stylish, you can make it visible with
```#sidebar-left
{
display: inline;
}```
Can't do this with streams tho, the block of html for that is only sent on the index page.
It stopped working for me sometime early S3 iirc.
What flag would you use if all 6 players were from differing countries?
New changes today and a some more tomorrow: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/overwatch/topic/20753516591#post-2
I'd be willing to contribute if this were to happen. My web development/design skills are a bit rusty, but I'd love to get back into it and contribute some code/design given the chance.
That round 1 spawn camping was dirty. Great first hold for Hammers.
Nice show, looking forward to catching them weekly.
logo looks suspiciously like a taco
Damn dude, I can't unsee that now.
While I have no strong opinion on his dismissal either way, TSM certainly has the right to decide who they employ or not. Whether you personally disagree with their standards does not matter. The org is their house and their members have to play by their rules if they want to be/stay employed and become a face of the organization. The situation sucks for Ajax. I feel bad for him for ruining his chance with this org via a lapse in judgement on his part, but TSM has every right to release him.
I don't really follow any other esports they're in, and tbh forgot they werent just an ow team :p
That strong title game, tho.
Sad to see a team disband, especially in the EU scene. Best of luck to the players looking for new homes.
Wonder why the Bruins decided to go in on what is now a new team, or if the talks have been going on since before Splyce began looking into part of the Kungarna squad to revitalize their lineup. Hope it works out - having established sports teams help support the growth of esports is awesome, and will need good success stories for more to join in.
So who wants to use their account to host a 24/7 over.gg DM server?
I like it, subbed as well. I'd suggest turning the music down a bit, its nice but also a tad distracting at the current volume.
Why do you think Roadhog and Ana still require nerfs? I haven't played Ana since the patch, but I love the feel of the new hook.
That last Kings Row round was quick. Had connection issues when it was Hammers turn to attack, and by the time my stream caught up they were already on second point.
Glad for Hammer, that was a treat to watch.
Does an enigma stand in mean anything for the current NRG rebuild?
Agree with SKYTRiXSHA. I doubt another healer will take up the slots that the tanks lose, so one of 3/1/2 or 2/2/2 will probably be the new meta. Can't wait for the period of instability while the new meta is starting to form, its always interesting to watch it evolve.
Good job. Really love the new flags, and the extra map info is nice to have. Any plans for a site design for mobile? Also, looks like no flags are appearing on the PM inbox now.
Enjoyed this article and especially agree with your view on how PTR should be used. Hoping Blizzard eventually picks up on this and gives us their thoughts on the current process, and open a dialogue on how they can improve.
My guess is that YouTube struck a deal with MLG for sole streaming rights. Wonder how much money they blew for it?
Good sportsmanship from coL, glad that they agreed.
Not sure if this was brought about from this update or not, but flags aren't displaying properly in the message inbox. The class being applied is "flag-[country]" instead of "mod-[country]", causing them all to display as the Union Jack.
Well, that was a quick match. Genji and Tracer v tank meta was hard to watch.
A friend of mine asked me to make a dark theme of the site to use for him. Figured I'd release it to the public as well. Its mostly just recolouring of elements, but I also fixed a couple small bugs. Tested on Chromium/Firefox on both windows and linux. Dunno how it looks on IE/Safari/Opera. Some stuff is likely to break with any site updates, and I'll try to keep this up to date.
On Chromium, remove the @moz-document wrapper and specifiy the url as http://over.gg from the Stylish GUI.
EDIT: updated for the recent site changes
I really like the new skins. Can't wait to nab Zenyatta's and Pharah's, especially. I need to get better about saving credits for these events.
Clicking the mlg.tv link currently just brings you back to this page.
Great quality as always, keep up the good work!
Sorry to bump this for a third time in a row. I edited the script above to blur the text instead of completely hiding it, which I think looks more pleasing. Added the toggle to over.gg/matches as well, where it functions the same as the toggle on the main page.
Also did a quick Stylish sheet for http://www.over.gg/post/2825/some-suggestions-for-the-site, in case other people wanted that as well.
matuka
pls do this
.mod-sidebar {
width: 100%;
}
.mod-sidebar .module-item-count {
float: right;
margin-left: 0px; /* Chromium will break the line in half with the original left margin of 6px, Firefox doesn't seem to care whether or not its there */
}
Where did everyone place compared to last season? I peaked at ~3090 last season, ended at ~3029. Just went 7-3 in placements and placed 3210. Played support (Ana/Zen and Lucio once) for 9 of the 10 matches, and D.va once.
One of my favorite series to watch so far. Both teams did really well, and the variety in the hero picks was really exciting to watch. I'm interested to see how this meta ends up solidifying. Zebbo's widow was on point as well.
Created a Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey script for those who wanted the scores to be a toggle option instead of always off. The toggle shows up on the main page, as well as individual match pages. When toggled on individual match pages, the change isn't global. Didn't find a good, quick place to add the toggle on over.gg/matches, but it will still use whatever option you have set from the main page. I'll add a button there after the holiday.
// ==UserScript==
// @name overgg score toggle
// @namespace overgg
// @description overgg win result toggle
// @include http://www.over.gg/*
// @version 1
// @grant none
// ==/UserScript==
var hidden = JSON.parse(localStorage.getItem('overggScores')) || false;
$(".wf-module-header:contains('completed matches')").append("<button id='show-match-btn'>Toggle Scores</button>");
$(".wf-label:contains('results')").append("<button style='float:right' id='show-match-btn'>Toggle Scores</button>");
if($(".match").length) // Button for match results page
{
$(".thread-frag-container").append("<button id='show-match-btn' class='btn noselect'>Toggle Scores<span class='shadow'></span></button>");
}
enact();
$("#show-match-btn").click(function() {
hidden = !hidden;
enact();
if(!$(".match").length) //don't make toggle on individual match pages permanent
{
localStorage.setItem('overggScores', hidden);
}
});
function enact()
{
if(hidden)
{
$(".h-match-team-score.mod-count, .game-container-winner, .match-header-score-count, .match-item-score, .match-item-score-winner").css("color","rgba(0,0,0,0)");
$(".h-match-team-score.mod-count, .game-container-winner, .match-header-score-count, .match-item-score, .match-item-score-winner").css("text-shadow","0 0 12px #000");
/* Don't fuzz games that haven't been played yet */
$(".match-item-score:contains('-')").css("text-shadow","0 0 0px #000");
$(".match-item-score:contains('-')").css("color","#444");
$(".mod-winner, .match-item-score-winner").css("font-weight","500");
return;
}
$(".h-match-team-score.mod-count").css("color","#888");
$(".game-container-winner, .match-header-score-count, .match-item-score, .match-item-score-winner").css("color","#444");
$(".h-match-team-score.mod-count, .game-container-winner, .match-header-score-count, .match-item-score, .match-item-score-winner").css("text-shadow","none");
$(".mod-winner, .match-item-score-winner").css("font-weight","bold");
}
EDIT: updated to work with the latest site changes
Okay, that's good to see. Hope wherever he decides to go works out for him.
Although the video says he's going to be pursuing stuff outside of gaming. Gonna miss watching his pharah. :(
I know this thread is a bit old, but anyone who wants feature can use this Stylish sheet:
@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);
@-moz-document regexp('http://www\\.over\\.gg/.*') {
.h-match-team-score.mod-count, .game-container-winner, .match-header-score-count, .match-item-score
{
visibility: hidden;
}
.match-item-team.mod-winner {
font-weight: normal;
}
}
Correct me if enigma already implemented this, I just didn't see it anywhere.
That was a large surprise to me, and my biggest gripe. Not that the changes pushed were bad, but I was expecting a lot more testing to be done before anything was committed. The PTR was only up for what, a week or two? While I understand not wanting to restrict yourself to only releasing updates when major tournaments are not going on, I hope Blizzard will at least be able to give more notice next time. A "Hey, we know we said these changes weren't likely to make it to live, but we've changed our minds and a new patch will be heading out in the next few days" would go a long way.
Also, I'm surprised Sombra made it to live without any changes - especially her health kit hack period. Interested to see how that plays into the meta.
I play under seaDee#11932, really only on weekends at the moment. I also mostly play quick play right now due to an unstable connection. I'll throw you an invite next time I'm on.
Interested to see how this team plays out
