Really wanna see SHD win this. It would be such a huge victory and a great story :)
You know nothing.
Prediction on point.
nice prediction
Houston's too busy destroying every team in the MLB right now.
I would hope without Rogue or EnVyUs present, Cloud 9 can take the whole thing. That being said, there is some fierce competition lined up.
Only caught the match this morning when it was 1-1. Sad to see they lost.
Could do without lilbow, but otherwise looks like a great roster!
Never really cared too much for Reunited, but nonetheless, it is sad to see such a new team with promise leave the scene.
Good stuff, sideshow. Could you perhaps also includes some "must-see" VODs?
Extremely well written and conveys the community's general sentiment toward the tank meta. I like the use of data that supports the conclusion, we don't see enough of that in editorials.
This is one of the few times I'm really not excited for the talent. I would prefer hexagrams over MonteCristo or Doa any day.
Kind of like how Team Liquid had issues with s1mple. Yeah, s1mple's a god but he didn't mesh well. I hope misfits doesn't lose their team ability losing Kryw like Liquid did.
Yeah, it seems Rogue knew about Talespin leaving when they picked Envyus. Good choice!
Good stuff, reminds me of the This Week in SC2 threads on TL.net. Really enjoy it when people go through the effort of picking over the week and finding the good stuff. Keep it up!
TviQ, your entire Twitch profile is one giant highlight reel.
I've seen the dude play. It may actually take three, I'm not quite sure sometimes.
So I'm not familiar with any Korean or APAC Overwatch teams. I guess my question now is, what do we expect from Korean teams in Overwatch? I personally don't think this is indicative of the skill of individual Korean teams, as I believe the Korean team for the World Cup is superteam with players from different Korean teams. Is the common notion now that Koreans in general are just better? Or do most people suspect that a pro team such as EnvyUs or Rogue could beat the established Korean teams?
I have to say, I agree with the list for the most part. Been a fan of TviQ since he started on Rogue, and the man never disappoints!
EZ for Russia
Well, the 11:30-12:00 break is likely to give patrons the opportunity to go to whatever event they want to, so I'm not convinced they just "left something out".
G2 and melty Kreygasm
The finals I'd like to see? Sweden vs USA, with Sweden winning. I'm American, but I like the Swedish players more. TviQ!
Aren't you supposed to be modding a channel right now?
I stand corrected, thanks. This is why I should have consulted Liquipedia first x.x
I wouldn't be surprised if they played in the next GosuGamers weekly.
Haven't watched FaZe since Mendo stopped playing for them. Are they still pretty good?
I think it's a good match too, but hasn't he been playing tank more recently? I seem to remember him playing Rein, and I'm not too sure how the switch up will affect him. A good support player makes calls, sure, but there's more to it than just calling and with his limited support play experience, I don't know if he'll be the complete package that a great support can be.
Clockwork is a top pick, he's solid. Numlocked is another story, not sure how his support play will pan out.
Really glad to see Mendo on a team again. I'm gonna enjoy watching this team play. Go C9!
I doubt it personally. I don't think we're going to "discover" any talent at Blizzcon really. The teams that do well are going to be the ones that already have well-recognized high level players.
Love the article. Well thought out, great recaps and info. Keep it up!
I had really high hopes that Canada would go through though =(
So glad Mendo's back on a team!
